Easy to install with the DPP Titanium Adapter Plate though I did have to file down the screw on the right to around 71/2 mm in order to prevent interference with the extractor rod. It would be nice if Holosun would provide screws of the right length for this particular product. I've seen videos addressing the problem some folks have in finding the dot but didn't find that to be a problem myself. Excellent optic, especially at the price. ... show more

This sight is amazing. Really bright green dot and an EXACT drop in fit for my Canik METE MC9 pistol. The build quality is great and the controls are very easy to use. I would highly recommend this optic. The shake awake feature is great and adjustable for time on.

I ordered this red dot for my P10C, found out that the plate I bought was not a RMCs and so instead of doing a return on Amazon I decided to talk to the company themselves to figure out a solution. Shane from PrimeCraft responded quickly and effectively and helped me get my hands on a model that would work with my plate. I currently have a 507c on my pistol right now and it is very similar to the 407k, just a little bigger. The dot is crisp and easy to find.     • Not correct screws out of box for hellcat pro
Maybe the unit I got was off however the machine screws that came to direct mount the sight to my Hellcat pro were 3/32 too long. I was able to get a couple that were the correct length and it mounts perfectly. Good little sight.

    • The right choice for old eyes on a subcompact pistol
This is my third Holosun purchase, having a product on a 9MM PC Carbine and the 507C on a Gen 4 Glock 17. I recently bought a new Sig P365 for EDC purposes and wavered on whether or not put an optic on it or not. The short sight radius, combined with my aging eyes, told me to at least give it a try. I wavered between the 407K X2 and the 507K X2. Because of the size of the sight picture, combined with the fact that the larger 30 MOA ring and with 2 MOA dot on the 507, gave me the sense there would be a lot going on here. For those reasons I went with the 407, which has a 6 MOA dot and nothing else. It was the right choice for me; whether it is for you is up to you. This is not about precision as much as it is fast target acquisition, and it does it's job. Whether there is truth behind green being better for those with an astigmatism is up for debate. I personally prefer the green, but the red sight picture on my 507C has never been a challenge to use, so who knows. All in all, this is a great little package and offers an awful lot for the dollar spent. ... show more
