The gun safe arrive damaged, not by the seller or the shipping company. This was a defect straight from the manufacturer. Also the instructions are completely worthless. I spent over 30 minutes looking for the full instructions online. Once I download them, to my surprise, the keypad reset doesn’t work. I contacted the seller and they immediately took control. Once again, this was not the sellers fault or the shipping company. However they addressed my concerns and solve my problem same day. Haven’t figured out the fingerprint option yet but it works fine. Seems sturdy and safe. Surprised with the quality for how cheap it is. I have 2 rifles and 3 handguns in mine with plenty of ammo. Very spacious

    • came dented - instructions suck, but i found the reset switch and it works great.
the reset switch is inside the door jam, covered by a small red cap, you push and hold that in, while simultaneously holding your finger on the front panel, lift finger, place finger lift finger, place finger it should blink green and beep twice, then say OK... your finer is now programmed.

I wanted to list what I liked about this safe, but I couldn't think of anything. Cheaply made to the point that I am sure it can be opened with a hatchet or even a P38 military can opener with enough time. I drilled a hole in the back to secure to the wall, with the hardware provided and the metal tore like paper. Had to add bigger washers and I am still concern that if someone would just pull really hard the whole safe will just rip in half leaving the back on the wall. It will not stay programed. Close the door too hard and it resets to the factory combination. Which wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't 12345. The finger print scanner is useless. And the back up key lock can be open with a screw driver. The only thing this "safe" is good for, would be if you used it as a decoy and secured your guns some where else. Don't buy. ... show more

Came well packaged. One of the inside shelf adjusting bars was a little bent, but easily fixed. Followed the video on here for easy set up. Was very easy to input codes and fingerprints. Works great! Liked that it already has pistol/handgun pockets on the inside door and came with equipment to secure safe to wall. Not super heavy and slim profile. Barely took up any space in my closet. Funny thing is I read a review or two with the same area being damaged upon unpacking, apart from that the safe is worth the price. Biometric scanner and keypad is working seamless so far. Pay attention to your barrel length because the cutout is not adjustable as the shelf is.

    • Danaged, bent and large paint chippings, door off hinge pins when box was opened.
This is my third gun safe from Amazon, its mid sized compared to the large and smaller one I recieved, they came in no damage at all. I opened the box and noticed right away the door was laying inside the safe, this caused bulging/paint chipping at these points, so I hammered the two bulged areas where the hinge pins went in, placed the door back in, made sure it closed/opened easy as well as locked correctly. Painted the chipped area, works okay, I did jot want to have to wait for another one or take this to UPS to ship it back. It holds my firearms safely and locks up fine. Keeping it. Update! (HOW TO CHANGE THE PIN. After multiple attempts, I came up with another try and it worked. With the safe open and unlocked, Press * followed by the factory programmed PIN, Press #, You should see green, Press * again, Enter your new PIN, Press #, You should see green. You’re new PIN should now be set. I hope this helps :-) ) I really like the style and size. It seems well built for now and looks like it should last for a while. The one thing I need help with is changing the code. I read the instructions and tried at least 100 times. I have kids who are getting crafty and wouldn’t want them or a friend accidentally open it. ... show more
