Really impressed with this gimbal. It's a vast improvement over the iSteady X that I had and far outshines the DJI OM4. Pros: Lightweight, half the weight of the OM4 and handles my Pixel 7 Pro with no issues Very smooth operation and I prefer the fixed clamp over the magnetic one that DJI has. The detachable remote that acts as the controller is great. Doing selfies or group photos and videos are no longer an issue as you don't have to worry about a timer. I really appreciate that you no longer have to turn knobs to lock the gimbal in place when fully open like you did on the X. The construction and material fell like high quality which I really appreciate. It also supports Android unlike DJI, which totally abandoned Android support. Cons: honestly it's hard to find fault with this gimbal. If I discover anything I'll update this review ETA: first con I've found with it and it's not the gimbal itself. I would not recommend using the video or camera function on the hohem joy app. I find the quality of videos and photos to be subpar through their camera app. The Pixel 7 Pro I have is far superior in that department. ... show more

I bought a different one that said it would work with my phone but it didn’t. This one does and it’s got a remote control. I wanted a gimbal to video walks and bike rides. I haven’t tried it with the app yet but it does everything I need it to so far without the app. It’s not heavy either. I’m really impressed with it. The media could not be loaded. After using higher end gimbals for DSLRs, I decided to try a phone gimbal for an upcoming trip. The price on this one made it an easy choice. I'm not interested in doing selfie vlogs, so I had no need for the light on the full x3 model. It was far better than I expected. The removable remote along with their software allowed me to hold the gimbal high over my head and still control zooming and panning of a parade I wouldn't have been able to see otherwise. A wonderful feature that I wasn't expecting was the pano option. Anyone who has ever tried to use a phone pano and got frustrated because you forgot whether you needed to raise or lower the phone to stay in frame will love this. In portrait or landscape mode, hold the camera still and hit the shutter button on the gimbal. Zip, zip, zip, zip, zip. The gimbal does the full 180 pivot and stitching for you. I hope the photo I attached will show in its full panoramic glory. It also has a small extender that works as a tripod or a longer handle, and although I didn't try it, it looks to be a standard tripod mount so you can use it that way as well. If you are interested in playing with the amazing capabilities of a gimbal, you really can't go wrong with this one. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The unboxing of the iSteady seems to be a well-made product as I said in the video when I picked up the main piece to it, it was not light it had some weight to it. I was very well pleased. The Amazon box that it came in was packed tight. All the pieces to the iSteady product were in soft, thin bags the company really made a big effort in the way they packed this product. This product came to me on time and it didn’t come to my door. It came to my mailbox that I appreciate, because anymore the homeless seem to think they can snatch Amazon boxes off of people‘s doorsteps. If you ask me, if the product was worth the money I spent on it. Well, I can’t fully answer that because I haven’t used it yet, but as far as it being packed up and sent to me in the condition that it was in that I give five stars too. I will be back and give a review when I’m using the product. ... show more
