  • Pretty good...I like our older one better.
This works, bottom line. The shipping time was good and it was easy to install. I don't like how the holes fit onto the toilet itself because there is a seam that lines up in front of the screw holes (with little boys that have a hard time with their aim, I feel like we're going to end up with some dripping into the seam and have a smelly bathroom.) I also don't like that the words that are printed on the knob go in a circle...kind of hard to read when you're sitting down doing your business and have to read some of the wording upside down, I think it would have been better to just have pictures like other bidet attachment models. All in all though the thing works and it was cheap. ... show more

  • Why didn't we get this years ago??- VITAL for elder/child care!
Style: 2 PACK-Chrome
Sure, we checked out the more expensive sets, and a friend has a Brondell with heated seat, heated water, and a remote. And those features ARE nice, but not needed, and you'll pay $300+ for that one seat. Meanwhile- two for ~ $40 US? It's a DEAL! This one hooks up to the incoming water supply- with all the hardware included. The T junction splits the water before the feed to the tank, so it's clean, pure water coming in straight from the water supply. It mounted quite nicely on our toilet, and everything connected easily. Be sure that you're sitting on the toilet before you try the knobs to adjust water flow, in 'ready to go mode'. If not, you will shoot streams of water across the room (depending on the water pressure of your system). While putting down the lid to do a test seems like a strategy, 1) you won't be able to observe the flow unless you have a clear toilet lid, & 2) it will likely leak out in front of the toilet anyway. (True, you won't observe the flow when you're sitting on the toilet, but no matter. You'll still KNOW if it's working or not- promise.) Use a gentle safecracker's touch when learning your system, else you may be enthusiastically surprised by the baptism of your nether regions. Anyway- you'll learn the fore and aft of it pretty quickly, and will learn how to attenuate the flow. You'll not have to worry about 'befouling' the nozzles, because they are behind a protective shield that retracts upon adjustment of the water pressure. Wipe the outside of the shield with a water dampened piece of toilet paper if any cleaning is ever needed, then flush the toilet paper . Do your business, give yourself a spritz as needed, and use enough toilet paper to dry yourself off, and you are done! (In other cultures, each person has their own drying towel for their use only, hung near the toilet. If you can make that system work for your household, great- but do hide the towels before guests arrive, for they may use them as a handtowel after washing their hands if they don't want to use the 'nice' towel that you may have set out for guests (and yeah, we don't want that to happen)) All in all- an amazingly useful purchase! HOW I WISH that we had had this in place when my elderly parent lived with us, and we had some 'major cleanups'! I cannot overemphasize how helpful this would have been - it would have been easier, more hygienic, more dignified for all, to be able to do 'gross cleanup' with this item. Seriously- if you have an elderly parent, or even a youngster with challenged toilet habits in your household- this is A MUST HAVE. . ... show more

  • May Need Tinkering To work, Strong splash
Style: 2 PACK-Chrome
I nearly return the package after having installation trouble. The inner printer carton was slightly loose, but no matter. All items were intact: with two bidet seat insert/valve, with two packages of parts including a metal braided water line, a metal t-fitting/adapter, and 4 rubber washers each. This is my 2nd time installing bidet for toilet seat so I am not completely foreign about the parts and process. Installation Issue: What worked, after shutting off the water and flushing the toilet, removing the existing water hose was easy, both finger tight. the metal flexible hose went in fine, without requiring Teflon tape. Not much water came out. Only a towel is needed to keep the area dry. T-fitting to original water line is also fine, but I could not get the T-fitting/adapter to the toilet inlet. As it turned out, the included tapered rubber washer was so thick that I was not able to screw the adapter in. Installing without the rubber washer turned out .. leaky. After much cussing and bitching, I went down to the local hardware store and bought two thinner rubber washers, about 7/8 inch OD. With the thinner rubber washer, the adapter screwed in fine, without Teflon tape. For people who were complaining about installation, I suspect this could be the problem. The solution is a 78 cent 7/8" OD rubber washer. But the fact that a work around is required means I do not recommend this item. I probably would not buy it again. Visually imposing - The bidet toilet mount is visually kind of imposing. We typically keep the lid closed and I can clearly see something added on. Not a huge deal but not the most attractive solution. And the "wing" feels flimsy. Using the included washer while installing the toilet seat made the front the seat flushed, instead of having a large gap. Operation is fine, the indent to off is very easy to click in. Easy to use. Closing thought: This is one of the two bidets that I narrowed down to after some shopping. I was looking for the one I originally purchased but it appeared not made any more. I prefer plain simple looking and not too much styled with odd visual element. This one was close. If the other one install fine, I will hopefully do not need to think about another bidet for this house. If someone asked me to recommend one, I would recommend this one with reservation. You may not need to do anything with the washer, but if T-adapter is the problem, then the fix is pretty simple and inexpensive. 09.10.2020 Update: Strong Splash This bidet is installed in the guest bathroom where it was used occasionally. I have another bidet I use on the daily basis. In comparison, this one has a significantly stronger water flow than the other one, causing much splashing on the toilet seat which needed to be wiped after every use. I think that the function that retract the sprayer head needed more pressure to over come the initial extension. Even if one turn down the flow after the flow began, the water already gotten sprayed everywhere. I do not know if I would NOT buy the unit if I knew this, but certainly is a characteristic of this bidet. ... show more
