It covers up that absurd metal cheek rest and gives you the ability to run shotgun cards. I really can't recommend it enough for comfort and utility.

With 14 rounds in the KSG already, I am not sure where I would find myself needing the extra rounds. What I do love is the cool look factor and the fact that the strap guard makes it very comfortable to put your face against. No longer have to touch the cold metal (especially shooting in cold climates) against the butt of the shotgun. Great quality too! Highly recommend. ... show more

    • High quality product but overpriced. Like all of high-tech customs products.
It's a good product. It makes shooting a KSG more comfortable. The shotgun shells do move around a little bit in the loops but they do not fall out. So the loops need to be a little tighter. I fired 2 and 3/4 inch slugs and full 3 inch Magnum rounds 15 pellet buckshot through the shotgun and the shells are retained and do not fall. But just barely though I feel like the brass is the only thing holding them in. ... show more

Great customer service! The initial product I received was not 100% so the vendor Hi-Tech sent out a replacement via express delivery. I like the way this looks for carrying additional rounds, but know that this was made for the KSG originally. There is a bit of movement on the KS7 with the strap that goes over the buttstock. I also purchased the extended buttpad from KelTec and this provided a little bit of better fitting, but can still slide inward toward the ejection port. I will keep it on. ... show more
