I am dumbfounded at how bad these lights are. First, who puts 1300 lights all on one strand! How are you expected to hold that much while you’re putting them on a christmas tree! It takes 2 people to do it. Secondly a wire was split and some lights were working some not. I took some electrical tape and fixed it temporarily, I ordered these last minute for my x-mas tree (ones i had went missing) and for some reason they were late to deliver by two days! Most importantly, after arriving late, fixing a wire, and spending hours unknotting, then putting them up (pain in the ass) i plugged them in and was happy. All I cared about was having lights on my christmas tree. BUT, as I went to sit on the sofa, all the christmas lights went out, just completely out. I unplugged it, plugged it back in, checked everything as best I could, but nothing, they have worked since. So i have 1300 lights on my tree that do not work AT ALL, and it’s 2 days before christmas. I can not believe how many problems went on with these lights. ... show more

I love these lights it really made my Christmas tree beautiful. I love that it has different settings for the lights with a timer. They seem to be tangle resistant but I stored them in a light organizer storage container so we will see how tangle resistant they really are.

    • A LOT of lights and dimmable, too.
This is quite a long string of lights--a plus if you have any restrictions about connecting sets of lights together. They are plastic and have a shorter beaded type of light, so that means there was less of a chance of breaking the lights during installation or take-down compared with using the longer glass bulbs of traditional lights. The eight settings provide some variety. I don't like a fast flashing setting. The perfect set of lights would have a slow twinkle on and off setting. Have not found that yet, but there is one setting on these lights that is pretty close! =) The silvery wire is pretty, so using these for wedding decorations would be a little classier than a set with a plain white cord. I have not used them for a long time so I cannot speak to the longevity, but all the lights worked straight out of the box. ... show more
