**UPDATE 01/05/2022: Since I left my initial review several months ago, the company has contacted me EIGHT TIMES asking me to remove my negative review in exchange for a $50 gift card. This is a manipulative and unethical practice. For companies that do this type of thing, you simply cannot trust the reviews., as they become artificially inflated. I would never buy from this company again. My review is downgraded from two stars to one star.** I had a couple of issues with this pump. First, the pump (along with the carrying case) smelled absolutely terrible. It's new plastic, and so I expected it to smell to some degree. But even after leaving it air out in the garage for a week, it still reeked. Second, one of the buttons stopped working properly after using it only once, which made setting the PSI very difficult.     • Great all around portable compressor!
I purchased this compressor for Christmas after owning a previous Helteko one. My main reason for buying this compressor was as something I could put in the car in case of emergency. As some people have likely started noticing many cars no longer come with a spare tire so I wanted this as a backup in case I was a little low on air I could get somewhere safe by putting some in and then getting a proper repair. Now back to the compressor...The carry bag is handy for putting it in the trunk and the cord is long enough that I can connect it to the cigarette lighter and reach all 4 tires. One of the best features for this compressor over previous generations is the dual power setup so I can power it with DC power from the car or AC power from the house. This came in use almost right away as my daughter had some presents for Christmas that required blowing up and bam....I got a compressor ready to go. Over the past 12 months, I have purchased four (4) Helteko AC/DC air compressors. The model number purchased is CZK-3657. I have kept one for myself and given the other three to my adult children to store in their vehicles. I did a good amount of comparative research prior to settling on this unit. In summary, I believe that the Helteko compressor provides the best value overall for the money. The factors that influenced my choice include the compact size and weight, the clear display, the LED illuminating light and the convenient carrying case. Several other compressors in this price range were rated higher by expert reviews; however, they appeared too light and flimsy to me. The compressors have been used several times by my family and me. The units have functioned very well, providing accurate readings on the display and accurate pressures. The noise level is very tolerable compared to the previous pancake style tire inflator that I owned. The ability to power these compressors from your car or from a wall outlet (if available) is a plus. The compressors look and behave like a quality piece of equipment. Having used these for a combined total of about a dozen times since purchasing them, I have yet to find any negative aspects of these units. ... show more

This air compressor works perfectly to get your car tire inflated within 5 minutes! Like any compressor it makes some noise, but I dont find it any more moisy than other products that i have used, and i would say that it is way quiter than any commercial compressor out there. The light function is pretty handy and actually quite bright if inflating at night. I really like the fact that it has two deep crevices in the sides to fold and tuck in the power cables so everything is neat and tidy to pack up. Also has some nice clips in the corner to clip on any attachments that might be used while inflating footballs or bikes, etc. Finally, the coolest feature is the AC power option which lets you inflate other equipment (air mattress, footballs, rafts, etc) within your garage or inside your home, straight from a wall power source. ... show more

I didn't receive the correct accessories and tried to contact the seller. I couldn't get through to to website or contact him from the info on the box. I just need a couple of the nozzle attachments. Otherwise seems like a nice item I added stars to my review because I heard from the company. They gave me a generous refund for the missing nozzles and were very responsive. This product does just what it says. It is easy to use, it uses 2 power sources, the digital readout is clear, it inflates tires in a very reasonable amount of time, it stores away well, it has the best warranty, and it is at a reasonable price. I shopped this tool for several days and picked this one in the end and I am glad I did. I think it is a good value at the price point. I have owned and used this portable air compressor for a month now. It looks good and appears to be well designed. It came with all the accessories and carrying bag as advertised. The operating instructions are very clear, brief and easy to follow. It is very effortless to start and operate. It took me less than 10 minutes from the time I opened the box to the time I pumped air into my car tires. The auto-turn-off feature works flawlessly shutting the unit off after reaching the set pressure. Dual 120VAC and 12VDC power plugs make it very versatile to use. I am putting it in my car. This is my first portable air compressor. I will certainly get more in the future for my family and relatives if it’s proven reliable to me. So far so good. Thank you Helteko. ... show more

Amazing gadget. I'm a 65 yr old senior citizen an even I can use it. Better than going to a gas station to learn either the air pump is broke, an now it cost money for air in your tires. Next they'll be charging us to breath air. This is a great item for any lady or just any one to keep in your vehicle for those low air tire situations. I extremely highly recommend this item for any one with a vehicle. This would make a great holiday gift as well. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to use it or figure it out.
