Tried installing this in my husbands GMC and it didn't fit. Now I can't get a refund bc it is past the time frame to request one. This was just opened YESTERDAY!!! I bought this for him along with all his radio speakers and touch screen for Christmas. He works pipeline so he has to make time to install this. When he did find time (yesterday) it doesn't fit. He had to run to town (we live out in BFE) and get one that did. Plus spend money that we have already spent to get another one that is the right fit. Can I please be issued a refund? This kit worked well in my 2004 Silverado. I paired it with single din 10.1in screen and its included double din adapter. Getting the plastic sides to stay in place while screwing in the head unit was a little troublesome, but nothing any DIYer shouldn't be able to handle. I also had to use a razor blade to trim off the "model kit" adapter pieces, but it is not noticeable. ... show more

Looks like it will work but it wouldnt fit my radio or it could be my radio….also didnt come with any screws so i had to go on a search for some that would hold the side plates down but it almost fit just couldnt get the faceplate over my radio without it messing up my volume button so it could be radio ... show more

I ordered this double din stereo kit because it could arrive the next day and looked like it would do the job. I was right. Installation was simple and easy. I installed this into a 2006 Silverado with no issues. The bezel was flush with the aftermarket radio and made for a clean installation. Other bezels I have used in the past were more universal and required a lot of fiddle to get them to look good. This one was a set it and forget it. I just snugged up the stereo, test fit the trim dash trim to confirm a good fit, then secured the three screws provided with the radio, (not part of this kit, which is fine, because most new radios come with the correct screws). Product works as it should. It seems like it would be easy to damage so be careful installing. Seems like there is no wrong way to install it. The brackets that mount to the side of radio will only pop in one way. It worked for my 2006 chevy silverado 1500 . It's a good product, showed up when it said it would and arrived in great condition. Not a bad buy at all. If you're changing out radios all the time then I would probably stay away but for me, I only plan on taking it out once or twice for backup camera and amp. ... show more
