Imma be honest I got worried when I received it and opened it . I did not read the description very well and misread it thinking I was getting a big wattage amp but it's only a 250watt other then that everything looked good and came in great packaging. 2nd worry was after connecting everything and turning it on protect light was on and was not making sound after looking at the amp I realized I forgot to plug the gain knob and after connecting it , it worked . The first concern of it being a 250watt went away quickly as that amp pushed those 12s just right for my ford escape enough to where neighbors 5 houses down was able to hear it . I'm sure a bigger amp will make em hit harder but I'm happy with everything. The bad thing I can say is the Capacitor did not come with instructions so I had to check YouTube to charge the capacitor before finishing install. Fully recommend this for beginner to intermediate installers. ... show more

I’ve had this hooked up in my civic since February and it’s still beating hard… however I’m an old school bass head and always want more I’m in the process of upgrading to a skar set up. I plan to install this in my wife’s jeep when my new stuff comes in..but overall for the price it’s a dependable 2 ohm system.. can’t wait to see how she hits in that Jeep with it being open versus the sealed trunk on my civic..definitely will say the capacitor makes a big difference..the bass knob for the cabin dosnt work as far as adjusting the level but the power light works fine..it’s handy as far as trouble shooting, you can tell if the amp is getting power without getting out and popping the trunk to see the power light..but really haven’t had any problems to trouble shoot…longest trip I’ve made with them is from my house to Dollywood Tennessee about 3 hours both ways and it beat the whole way there and back…lol that said you could cook an egg on it when I got back.. but never over heated or went into protection mode..loud enough to piss off the old people in my neighborhood..can’t wait to see how they much they love my skar set up ... show more

TOTALLY MISREPRESENTED!!! The subwoofers are only rated at 400 watts MAX each and the amplifier is 250 watts MAX!! It should be a crime to misrepresent the product like this!
