  • Awesome find!
Exact replacement for an arm I broke a year ago. So glad I can across this listing. Fit perfectly and looks like OEM! :-)

  • You may need to disassemble to tighten srews
I ordered these because one of the armrests on my gaming chair broke off. I couldn't fix it because a screw hole was stripped. I was very happy to find these for about $40 and avoid buying another $300 chair. They install easily with the supplied wrench. But after a few weeks one of the armrests fell off, just like the old ones. I took the top cover off of the armrest that had fallen off. by removing four little screws on the bottom. If you do this, remove the cover cautiously, because there are three springs and four plastic retainers in the main body (one of the springs uses two retainers) that can pop out of their seats. This assembly is what gives the clicks when you rotate the armrest or slide it backward and forward. In the center of all that there is the big main screw that holds the armrest on its post. This one wasn't stripped. It was just never tightened properly the manufacturing process. So I placed the main assembly back on the post and screwed the center screw back in, and tightened it securely. I did this without removing the post from the chair, so when I put the cover back on the four little were now going in from the bottom and I couldn't see the holes, so I had to do that by "touch." It was a little tricky because you have to slide the armrest around to get access to the side holes, but I was able to do it while sitting in the chair. I noticed that that this armrest was now tighter in its movement, and had much less wiggle than the other one. So I took the cover off the other one and guess what? THAT main screw was loose too. It had never been tightened properly. So now everything is good, but only because I'm handy with such things, so I took a star off the rating. I gave all this detail so that if you buy these you can check and fix the screws if necessary. ... show more

  • Probably would have been just right and worth it.
Chair = Emerge Vartan. I returned this in leu of the 4D model in order to get some extra height. This 3D set looks to be a direct replacement for the Emerge Vartan so if that's what you are looking for this is it, just measure your brackets against the posted dimensions to confirm fit. The quality of the 4D seems very good for a replacement and was easy to install so I am guessing the same is true for the 3D model as well. But since I didn't work with the 3D model I only gave it 4 stars where I gave the 4D all 5 stars. Yes it probably has all the cogs and springs that are needed for it to operate like the original had, I don't know how one would make it operate without those parts so they're kinda necessary for all the adjustability. Just be conscious during use that all screws (internal) are snug to eliminate any wobble - that's was my failure for why the original broke. It is my opinion that $50 to get a couple/few more years out of the chair outweighs buying a new one. ... show more

  • Make sure you have the screws to put it in the bottom of your chair
So I bought aftermarket armrest and you send them to me without bolts to put it into the bottom of my chair. You know some chairs don’t come with armrest, but the holes are there to put armrest on there. the chair manufacturer doesn’t give you screws to armrest because the chair didn’t come with armrest so when I buy armrest, I expect screws to be able to attach it to my chair. For $50 you would think you could send more screw considering I can buy 100 of them for $7.29 on this very website. ... show more

  • Beware armrest cusion coming loose.
The only screw holding the armest to the rest of the unit came off a day after installation. Had to fix it myself.

  • Good, just one issue
Everything about them are exactly what I wanted except for the spinning arm rest. When you install them you have to spin the arm rests in. When you spin them they click into place. So it has a good 2-4 inches of movement back and forth in a spinning capacity. Even when they're fully locked in, they still spin. It's a little annoying, but beggars can't be choosers. It saved my favorite office chair. ... show more

  • Counting is very difficult
Two chair arms, bracket and 1 slide for office chair arms. Math can be very difficult.
