You definitely get a great value when you buy Hefty! These bags are easy to open and fit snugly in a 13 gallon can. The material is strong but also stretchy so you don't have to deal with the mess of broken bags. They may cost more than the dollar store bags, but they work well and are absolutely paying just a teeny bit more. ... show more

love the clean citrus smell. But a simple plastic wrapped package with corners (bendable, not rigid plastic) tore holes when lifting bag out of the can.

Hefty. A bit more expensive than bargain bags, but well worth it. Amazon sells them at a good price.

I continue to buy Hefty trash bags because they're a better price than the competitors and they just never tear! We throw anything from heavy watermelon rinds to metal cans into these bags and they still stay completely intact. We have to drive the trash in our car trunks to a central dumpster for our neighborhood and using these bags makes us confident that the trash won't leak into our car while driving it to the dumpster.
