I’ve used countless types of kitchen garbage bags from Glad and Hefty, but I liked this one so much that earlier today, I ordered another box to have on hand when the current one runs out. The Gain scent is not overwhelming; for a few days, it effectively helps mask the smell of the garbage. Of course, the longer the garbage sits, the less the Gain can conceal it. Overall, though, it’s a pleasant scent. More importantly, these bags hold up well. The scent would be meaningless if the bags routinely tore open, but these don’t. The only time I’ve encountered that problem is when I’ve overstuffed the bag. ... show more

We won't use anything else but the Force-flex bags from Glad. They are very durable unless something sharp pokes through. Love the scented ones especially.

So. I LOVE this product. Even though it doesn't hold up to a lot of things being stuffed in it, and it getting full in the can, getting said bag out of the can without ripping is next to impossible. I have had to double bag quite a few of these because of the sheer fact that they really aren't that strong. HOWEVER, the scent is the best around. These fit our kitchen garbage can perfectly and there's just enough stretch in the top to have the bag fit snuggly around the lip. Also very happy with the stretch in the bag itself, which is helpful so that odd shaped items don't poke through. The smell is delightful!

    • Who gets excited about garbage bags?
OK, it is not normal to get excited about garbage bags, but when you take out the trash and replace the bag with a new one, and catch a whiff if the gain scent, everything seems fresh and clean and right with the world. Those 3-4 seconds where everything is new and smells just right is just enough, please take the time to enjoy it! I accidently bought the same bag without the gain smell one time, still a great bag that does the job without ripping, but the smell is totally worth it and was missed when it wasn't there. ... show more
