I thought this was easy to put together and it's nice that you can take it apart for travel. My dog is 6 months old and 33 pds. I think she will grow into this nicely. Only bad is that she hates the canopy lol. Luckily that comes off! Hopefully she grows into it in the hotter months.

Good product and does what it needs to. Very simple to put together. The only problem is that the clips that hold the rods together in the canopy began to break. I am guessing this is from too much tension. If I get replacement clips. I will be satisfied.

    • Disappointed - Sticks snapped, Canopy Broke
I was so excited to get this for my dogs to lay out in the sun. I finished assembling everything and it was all great! The assembly took some tugging and pulling to make everything taut but in the end, it was okay. I went to move the cot from one place to another and the sticks in the canopy snapped and went through the canopy. I found it very difficult to assemble the canopy because the attachments did not fit through the assigned hole in the cot. I am very disappointed in the plastic connectors to attach the sticks and that it went through the canopy so quickly. If a simple plastic connector can make a hole in the canopy, what about an animal? The cot can be used; however, I bought it for the canopy. I am upset and disappointed. I have not decided if I should return the product... is there a way to receive a replacement canopy? Overall, the cot works well and the product is fine. I would not recommend this product though because of the cheapness and thinness of the items. ... show more

    • Nightmare to assemble!
This is the third dog tent I've purchased, but this was a different brand. The connectors between the rods are WAY too shallow so they constantly pop off when you're trying to thread the rods through. The directions are also incomplete, so it took me a while to figure out what to do to assemble the cross bars-- seems to have two extra connectors. The rods are also made of fiberglass, so I ended up with multiple splinters. Would not recommend! ... show more

Unfortunately, the canopy rods kept splintering off when I was assembling the canopy and one of the fasteners for the canopy assembly ended up breaking completely. It's not a bad bed (for the price) but if your main concern is shade, I wouldn't buy this particular setup.
