Description

The Heat Storm wave floor to wall unit is a great solution for any bedroom or small room where there is not much floor space. At 1000-watt this heater will easily heat up your room but you will not have issues tripping your Breaker if you want to run other electronics. This heater is safe to touch, even on the grill, making a great choice for anyone. This unit has two power modes, one uses the full 1, 000-watt (red leaf), while the second mode (green leaf) uses only 500-watt. Each unit contains our patented heat Exchanger with HMS technology that allows maximum heat from the infrared quartz bulbs without any heat loss from the unit.

I used it for four months last winter and for a few months this winter and it stopped working today. Made some garbly noise, so I stopped it, and now when I turn it back on I can't get the heat to work. I never abused it, never even turned the heat up past 74 degrees, was usually always in 'green' mode, and never left on overnight. I got 1 space heater and the wifi wall heater in black Friday sale... didn't think much off it, was just as a backup in case my furnace went out (let me down twice last winter). I was so impressed with these guys, I promptly ordered 3 more wall heaters... than, when weather was in single digits a few weeks ago, I ran out of propane! Man, these heaters kept me warm. Old house, no insulation, single digits and 4 units kept my house between 65-74F. (1300sqft) These things are awesome. Highly recommend. Wallheaters are extremely easy to install. Took me longer to find the drill and where to hang them than to actually install. 4 screws, you're done. Template includes level, so so easy! ... show more

I am able to close my bedroom off from the rest of the house with this heater and it actually gets too hot. I love the precise temperature control along with the hand held control. The heater is very lightweight and I am able to have it sit on the floor on its own stand or I can easily mount it to the wall at whatever height I choose. It does not tip over easily and has functioned perfect so far. I waited a year before writing this review so I could determine the true value of the heater and I can now say I would buy it over and over again…should I need to. Don’t wait. Plus: It's compact. It has a high and low setting. It puts out a decent amount of heat for a powder room on either setting. Easy to mount on the wall. Easy to access and clean filters. Minus: On the noisy side compared to a vornado I bought several years ago. Thermostat doesn't work very well. Temperature is almost always inaccurate. Manual says it can be calibrated, but the process works poorly, if at all. You have to mess with it for a couple of days - use a thermometer for the room and periodically adjust the temperature until the room thermometer shows the temperature you want. Even at that, it won't work very well. Bottom Line: This works well as an on/off heater and it looks good ... show more

IT IS 8 DEGREES HIGHER THAN THE ROOM TEMP. ROOM IS AT 72, HEATER SAYS 80!!! WTF!! Not only is the thermostat grossly off. It will not heat and turn off. I have compensated for the 8 degree difference. 1. I set it for 80 degress. 2. It reaches 82, turns off. 3. When It drops to 81, the thermostat then goes to 82 degrees, 30 seconds later, 83 degrees 4. At 83 degrees, ONLY the fan (NO HEAT) turns on for 20 seconds. 5. The thermostat then goes to 82 degrees for 30 seconds, then to 81 degrees. 6. The process repeats ALL NIGHT!!!! NO HEAT. This device needs to be recalled. It is gonna burn someone's house down or cause someone to freeze to death!!!! ... show more

As electric heaters go this is a real decent heater. Nice even heat. Fan is not too loud. Heat exits near floor, which I like as I feel it on my feet. I did not wall mount it. I bought the model that included floor stands. It has a nice coats wrap on the back to manage the cord. Makes is so the cord can be set to any length needed. Best part is this is only I think 1100 watts max. So the plug never gets hot on my old wiring. And the housing all around stays nice and cool. So I feel safer no fire risk. I didn’t notice much change in my elelctric bill over using the oil filled heater I had been using. Maybe it’s a little less since this heats up room in 20 min where pop filled used to take an hour to heat it up to be comfortable. Heater gets used 2-3 hours a day. I have it installed in small 8 x 10 office room that has 2 outside windows. There is no heat in that room. Gets down to around 50. This Heats it up to 72 in about 20 minutes. Then the heater cycles between high and low as needed. Overall I really like it. Like the remote control as well. ... show more
