This is a simple metal child’s tea set, and the metal sets are a great tea set where kids can play out fun times and not have to worry about breakage. I got this set to have a fun tea party with my two granddaughters and - using apple juice for the tea - we had fun and they were enthralled with the entire play acting fun. This set in particular is one of the cutest with the woodland critters all over them. Very decorative, and the girls got a kick out of getting to pick which one of the critters would be on their own cup and saucer. We had tea after reading a couple of books about having tea, which made the whole thing even more fun. I had also purchased the sweet The Tea Party In the Woods by Akiko Miyakoshi which the girls loved. I did not purchase this tea set for my kids to play with; I bought it for myself, to put on a shelf in my dining room as part of the woodland-themed autumn decorations I bring out each year. So I cannot speak to how well it holds up to play or if it’s watertight, but as a decorative piece, it is absolutely beautiful - the images are very detailed and the colors are bright. Bought this as a Christmas gift for my two and a half yr old granddaughter. The case is very sturdy and well made. The set is also well made , sized right for little hands and very cute. She loves it and has been using it everyday. My favorite present of all the gifts I got for our 4 grandchildren.

This tea set is really cute and comes in its own little case. It is sturdy and the designs on both the case and the pieces are beautiful. My granddaughter loved it! Highly recommend!

Bought this tea set for one year old grand daughter. The case was a big selling point for this particular set. The case was made of cardboard, so I was somewhat disappointed because of durability issues. I expected it to be metal like the tea set. The actual tea set was cute and she loves it

I was very pleased with the beautiful designs on this tin tea set. Because it is not china, it is durable and should last forever. I deeply appreciate that it is not plastic. I think this is the perfect tea set for today. I highly recommend it and would buy again.

    • Very cute, made for little hands, but case is flimsy & tea pot leaks
I bought this set because I loved the design. It’s very cute in person. The tea cups are made for very little hands. The tea pot, tray & plates are a little bigger; the size difference is a little strange. The carrying case is cute but it’s card board which can be easily damaged. The tea set comes tucked into a Flimsy card board display, which does not hold up, leaving the set floating around this big case banging into each other unless you wrap them up.     • Cups Leaked At Rivets
The set is everything I expected, except that the cups all leaked, messing up the tea party. I've used several sets exactly like this, and none of those leaked. I have been able to create a repair, but I wouldn't give it as a gift without first testing it for leaks. Very cute, though, and the pictures created much conversation as we sopped up the leaks with our napkins. Carrying case is cute, but chainstitched with dangling threads, which comes right apart under curious and swift little fingers. I have to repair that as well, but haven't had time. I like that it isn't plastic and doesn't break, but it could use some quality adjustment. ... show more
