I originally bought these for a Ragnar relay where showers are not available and I didn't feel like sitting in my sweat for 24 hours and 3 different runs. I was attracted to them because they were large in size and most importantly *biodegradable* - which is the only type of wipe I would buy. Anyway.... didn't actually use these for my ragnar, as I had some other wipes leftover that I used, but I ended up taking them with me for my Kilimanjaro trip. Used 2 wipes every morning and evening to replace a "shower". THey worked great and kept me feeling clean and non-smelly. I read a comment about this earlier but i had to use 5+ in order to get the job done. it’s a good product but wished i could lessen the amount of wipes i had to use

    • Jeep camping in the heat. These work!
I've been jeep camping/traveling for my job for the last couple of months. I go to the gym to shower every other day after workout and then use these wipes on days I don't go. It's June, going into July and I use about 2 of them just because it has been hot and I surprisingly do feel refreshed after using them. The wipes aren't huge but they're not small either. I cane easily get a full clean with one wipe but choose to use 2 to get the extra clean feeling from sweating from the heat. Now obviously with it being hot outside, I don't stay this way but I use them again in the morning before work and feel pretty clean again. No body odor or anything. Purchased these for an overland camping trip to Eastern Sierras CA, Sequoia National Park and other stops. From sandy, dusty and grassy camp sites, wooded hikes, sweaty hikes, to water front sites and some rain. These handled it all. They have a good thickness to them and are a really good size, so we didn't have to use a ton of them for each cleaning. I also have eczema and other skin problems, these did not irritate my skin at all. I even used them on my face. I don't know how biodegratable they really are since we take our trash with us. These smell great and you do get a clean feeling after using them. But the wipes don’t hold their shape and roll up on themselves when you use them. They also seem to tear easily. I typically have to use three or four of them to get the job done, and I’ve used other shower wipes that I can use just one maybe two to get the same level of clean. Overall, they do what they intend to do, but I probably will choose a different product once I run out ... show more

REVISED the following in brackets is my first comment [apparently some online reviews state that it's not clear what's in this. when I opened it, there's no smell whatsover and a cloth doesn't feel like there's any kind of moisturizer or chamomile or cucumber etc and they were just damp. there's no way you are going to open that package 45 times and expect the last cloth to be damp. You'll get probably 10 cloths at the most. Plus, there's no instructions as to how to open the package so I immediately starte to rip it open at the end. there's what appears to be a label on top, and that's actually where you open it. I tried that a couple of times at first and that label just didn't have any ridge on the edge to speak of to tell me that that's how you open it. so, get something else if you want something to even feel or smell like anything because this doesn't feel or smell any different than if you used paper towels, so why go through the expense] Revision: I let a friend try it after a workout and he said it does work and made him feel clean. I was going to return it but since he liked it, I just let him have it. If towels do dry out, we figured to just moisten them with some witchhazel or something suitable for men ... show more
