Oh the sparkle of rounded clear glass! I have been looking for a teapot to boil water in for decades. I’ve had 2 clear glass ones with plastic tops I didn’t use. This one is all glass. I was concerned about putting it directly on the electric burner since my other glass ones required a metal trivet. This one works flat on the stove!! The handle and top knob don’t get hot, so it’s easy to pour and hold the top while pouring. Used daily. Haven’t used a bloom yet, since I am so overjoyed to have such a beautiful, useful creation. I was hesitant to use this on the stove, but it worked very well. I would caution others to be sure to keep an eye on it while it's on the stove, as water may come out of the pour spout. (This happened to me, and the water caused the stove flames to go out but the gas was still on. That could have been extremely dangerous if I hadn't been watching.) The handle stays relatively cool while the rest of the teapot is hot. That's convenient for pouring! The pour spout is beautifully shaped and pours very nicely with no drips or spills. The infuser works very well with all of the loose teas I've tried with it so far. The included blooming teas were nice, if a little weak. I do love the scent and appearance of them! Honestly, 3 stars on the blooming teas, but a solid 5 stars for the teapot. ... show more

I received this yesterday. Quick, flawless shipping! My entire family loves herbal teas, and we grow many of our own herbs. I needed a better way to use loose leaf herbs without a bag or sieve. This is it!!! We brewed our first pot last night. Complete success! It has way more pros than cons! First, it's just absolutely lovely! It's dainty, elegant and aesthetically pleasing, yet very strong, tough, and durable! I prefer to boil the water in it, and it did a fine job. Very little of my dried herbs came through the tiny infuser slits. Not even enough to be bothered by, so that's a huge plus for me. The infuser goes almost to the bottom, so herbs will always be in the water, no matter how little water you use. The infuser is also large enough to pack a lot of herbs in! I like my tea strong, stout, and brimming with flavor. Everything fit with room to spare. Whether you like it mild or strong, this kettle works! It was super easy to clean, and would make the perfect gift for tea drinkers. There were only two things I personally did not like about it. Here's "my" cons... the beautiful spout pours flawlessly, yet the base of it is attached quite low. I would benefit from a higher spout. The more water you add, the further up the spout it travels. This is not an issue if you are pouring in boiled water to steep, but is if you plan to boil the water in it. To remedy that, we boiled half a pot and steeped it strong (pictured). Then added hot water to top off the kettle before pouring it into individual cups. All in all, it's not a huge issue and can easily be worked around. The only other issue (again, for me) is the size. It holds 4-5 cups. That is probably perfect for most. My husband and I have 5 children. It's not quite big enough for all 7 of us. Throw in a visit from my parents, and it's definitely too small. Most evenings, however, it's just my husband, myself, and our 3 youngest daughters. For that, a full pot is perfect. So again, not the biggest con in the world! Most do not have a huge family that loves multiple cups every evening. We're a little different. ALL IN ALL, I'm still amazed by just how much I love this beautiful pot!!! All I need now is a dainty, yet durable teacup set to compliment it. I will update this review as time goes on. We drink tea daily, so I should quickly discover just how durable it is. Do not let "my review" sway you from this glorious purchase! You will love it! If you enjoy hot herbal teas, you will definitely enjoy this well-made teapot! The media could not be loaded. I can't get enough of my new glass teapot! This teapot is a game-changer for me. It's rust-resistant, provides a healthier brewing option, and is perfect. Although it's smaller than I expected, it performs like a champ. The borosilicate glass heats up quickly and is super durable. Taking good care of it is a must, but it's worth it. The tea it makes is delicious, with all the flavors perfectly blended. Plus, it looks so elegant that it's perfect for entertaining guests. What a beautiful tea pot. love-love-love-it. Makes perfect tea. We take the tea out of the bag and dump it into the glass holder. This can be used on an induction top/stove too. Just put a cast iron (made by Lodge) holder down first. It is a tortilla holder. Not sure if Lodge still makes them? It is the only way to use some of our pots on an induction oven top. When there is a will; there is a way! Just make sure to keep the stovetop @or below 330 degrees. and I make honest reviews; dislike fake reviews. Yes; a must have for tea lovers! ... show more

I loved everything about this kettle and the tea flowers. Watching them bloom was fun and the tea smelled and tasted amazing. It seems a bit delicate and i worry about accidentally bumping it in the sink when cleaning. The lid does not quite fit perfectly without the loose leaf tea brewer in and when you pour it slides and scares me that its going to fall off and drop. But you can easily use your thumb to hold it down while pouring. I have not tried it on the stove yet. But this met all of my expectations and more. Very happy with the purchase. ... show more
