  • Sturdy pedal car
The pedal car was easy to assemble and the tube frame is super strong. It has rubber wheels which grip well on thin grass and roads And sidewalks. I think kids would have more fun with plastic wheels so they could spin and drift the cart. I ride my bicycle next to my grandson and we race or set up cones for a race track or obstacle course. I believe kids should play outside and get exercise …… I wish they had a larger version for adults so we could race each other. ... show more

  • Grandson loves it!
Was looking for something similar to what we bought for our son 20 years ago and this was the closest we could get. Super sturdy and well-made … our 4 year old grandson absolutely loves it. What makes it great is it depends on old fashion pedal power and learning how to steer and break. Great lessons in coordination for young ones to maneuver and use leg muscles. Good to get back to a solid outdoor toy and skip electronics and battery operated junk. ... show more

Our grandson loves his pedal car. We bought the lights after reading other reviews, now he can ride when it’s dark out too. Very fun!

  • Amazing
This was a gift 2 years ago to my child and it's still going strong. So popular with the kids that 2 other neighbors bought one. Fun and well loved. Still holding up great after 2 years and it has not been treated gently...just stored in our garage.

  • our grandchildren love this!
This great pedal riding toy is a hit with our grandchildren and friends. From 3-9 year olds are riding it. The seat is adjustable to help the short younger ones reach the pedals. It took our 16 year old grandson about 15 minutes to assembler, however he is quite skillful in such projects. It might take a novice a bit longer. I ... show more

  • Awesome! Better than electric ride on toy! Added lights for fun!
This little go cart is great! I research the electric ride on toys and most of them are made and you nowhere and they have a high failure rate. Batteries brake parts break and so on. Those electric right on ones are a one big disappointment waiting to happen. Plus I saw the charging time is like all night to get a short ride out of it the next day. I see in my mind with one of those kids crying in the battery dying at the wrong place at the wrong time. So when I give the kids something where they can burn off their energy stay healthy and never have these problems. So I bought him this pedal one and it’s great. It’s simplistic and perfect. It has real rubber tires is very sturdy. I research the electric ride on toys and most of them are made and you know where and they have a high failure rate. Batteries brake parts break and so on. It has real rubber tires is very sturdy. I decided to buy a bicycle bell which is manual and for bicycle rechargeable lights to enhance it. Oh and a custom license plate, mini bike size, 3x4 inches. I highly recommend this. Oh to install the rear Lights and plate I cut a piece of half-inch PVC pipe and drilled two holes on each side all the way through and mounted it would zip ties. The reason why I did this is there’s no good place to mount the lights on the rear of the frame. So the PVC pipe allows me to push more inwardly the lights this way if the kid backs up against the wall or something it doesn’t break the lights. The front lights are protected by the two front wheels. Also FYI the bike has only one drive wheel, works ok on short level dry grass and compact gravel. Best on a smooth surface. The pedals don’t freewheel which is good so your kid can reverse and maneuver. Enjoy! • Missing 4 screws and nuts
Update on May 2, 2021: Grandson and granddaughter are here and have ridden the cart. It has performed well, rear axle is secure and bicycle chain has stayed on sprockets 👍 I gave this product 4 stars only because of an issue after getting it assembled, following directions step by step. Unpackaged it after arrival and checked to make sure all listed parts were included. I actually found two extra brackets in the parts bag that were not listed or in the assembly instructions. I kept them. Thank goodness! After first assembly, took cart outside for 6 y/o to ride. He was loving it! After about 30-45 seconds, I noticed a piece had fallen out from underneath it and the pedals began to spin freely, without propelling the cart. It turns out the piece was a buffer on the rear axle between the axle and metal frame. Took the cart back inside and noticed that the rear axle was now moving about freely on the frame. I had to take the cover off the frame (it came already assembled on the main frame) and I discovered the bicycle chain had come off its sprockets. It was then that I discovered what the two leftover brackets were for. They hold the rear axle to the mainframe. The other problem was, there were no screws or nuts for the 2 brackets in the parts bag or the box it came in. Instead of wasting time and calling to have 4 screws and nuts sent, I went to Lowe’s and purchased them for $1.39. Got the rear axle bolted to the mainframe and re-assembled the body, taking care to reapply the stickers I had carefully pulled off. The directions need updating to include this step for the brackets. It is too late to have grandson back over tonight for another test ride. Will update tomorrow how it holds up. My hope is it does, it has a cool look and he was so ready to ride. ... show more
