    • Could not be happier with my Hathaspace
The media could not be loaded. Absolutely works to clean up the air quality in our 1600 sqft 3 bd 2 ba Florida home. It’s super quiet. So much so that you second guess if it’s still pushing air. I added a video with sound to give you an idea of how quiet it really is. With it on the low setting, air is still being driven at a good clip but you can’t hear it. If you stand above it the fan is blowing strong but it’s still silent. Medium speed you can hear air movement of sorts. On high you can hear it whispering low. So low that if your sitting on the couch next to it the sounds of the TV are never challenged. As for it creating better air quality, I can assure you it does. After the first 24 hours it was night and day in my home. Since turning this unit on 4 weeks back my nightly routine of allergy medication has gone to the wayside. All of our allergy eye issues along with mild respiratory issues are now gone. The air feels lighter and any of the Cat odors have left the building. I can’t stand the subtle odor of a cat and I’ve complained to the wife and kids for years about it since I’m rather over sensitive to smells of animals I’ve never wanted. But I can honestly say now with this Hathaspace Purifier when I return home after being gone all day the air smells and feels fresh. I’ve never been a fan of a home that hints of the smell of pets but the things you’ll live with to make your children happy. Right? Well now this machine has taken the hint of cat odor out of the equation. Visitors to our home have also purchased one of these and they love it. The instructions say to change filters every 4 months and the backup filters were only $30 so that’s not that much of an issue. I’ll probably switch out mine every 2 months since we have the cat. But that’s just me. If your on the fence deciding which one to purchase I can assure you this one works awesomely and it was half the price. Like I said, we have 3 bd 2 bath one level Florida home and it cleans the air for our whole house perfectly. I do recommend for anyone with seasonal allergies that can get trapped inside the home or with anyone who has a pet they prefer not to notice through their nose and lungs. ... show more

Well made air purifier with some nice features. Quiet, tells you what the air quality is and has a nice remote control. Bought one for my living room and another for my bedroom. They work great.

    • REALLY AWESOME PERFORMANCE
I do my nails at home, acrylics, which is very odorous and not really healthy, and the odor usually permeates the entire house with the windows open! Of course you can't open windows in the winter or even summer in Az., so I thought maybe I needed an air purifier, which I am SO glad I bought. I was working on my nails tonight, and I can see that the dirty air monitor came on as expected, and is working beautifully. Not even a whiff of monomer downstairs, which is usually very heavy. there and everywhere. This is the best investment I have made ever.. You will not be disappointed with this one. and I love the ease of operation, and the fresh air, which is so appreciated! I am so glad I made this purchase. I also had made prime rib yesterday and the fat rendering off in the oven smoked up the whole house. I left for a bit and came home and the smell was still there,even with the door open for hours on a nice day, and the fans and exhaust fan in the kitchen working it was very heavy. I just received this purifier on Christmas Eve, so it was still unopened. So I opened up the new package of my air purifier and turned it on. Within less than an hour, the entire 1600 sq ft house was free of the smell of the smokey fat, which likes to linger forever. I am so happy with the results of this purifier I just regret not getting one sooner. I was so happy with the quiet operation of the sleep mode with no lights if I so choose. Awesome!     • Doesn't work...Update: figured out WHY it didn't work, a sort of user error
I'm a smoker. The last air purifier that I bought cleared the smoke completely from my 144 sq. ft room in about 15 minutes. I chose this one to replace it because the other brand's filters have gone from $60 per filter to $90 per filter in the last year. This one costs a bit more than the other brand does. It WILL clear the smoke from my room in about 8 hours but only if my fan is also running. However, it did work okay the first day, it's really quiet, and it does help with the smell from the smoke and my dog. UPDATE: I'm changing my rating from 1 star to 4 stars because after I received a refund from this company without any trouble, I bought another brand of air purifier and realized then WHY I had a problem with the Hathaspace air purifier. I thought this might help the company and future customers. The problem wasn't the appliance. When I had the air purifier before this one, we adopted 3 new pets and that air purifier gave up the ghost. I thought it was due to the age of that one, appliances are no longer built to last (on purpose) and I'd had it 2 years. Then I did a lot of research and settled on the Hathaspace. The Hathaspace worked really well for the first day but was useless thereafter. So I thought there was a design defect or something. The real issue is that the increased animals meant feathers, a lot more fur and dander/dust. It took less than 24 hours for the filter to become completely clogged and no air could get through and so the bad air quality didn't register and it didn't kick in to the higher speed. I had the exact same issue with my current air purifier but it took longer to clog because the Hathaspace had already done a fairly thorough cleaning. It took me a bit of problem solving to figure out the problem. Now that I know.... if you have an issue with the machine working great soon after you get it and then rapidly stopping cleaning your air, check your filter. If you can see the dust and fur/feathers, vacuum the filter with a handvac and that'll fix it right up. I recommend vacuuming the pre-filter once per week in between filter changes. I apologize to the company for not figuring out the problem sooner and leaving a poor review through no fault of their own. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it really did take longer than my previous air purifier to filter the air. But I do want to say that the quietness of this product was fantastic and when my current machine, which also struggles a bit with circulating the air, goes out...if the company doesn't raise the price beyond the $200 price point, I would definitely purchase it again. ... show more
