Close friend of mine who is a design engineer had me switch over to HatchBox years ago and i have never gone back to any other brand. I have never had any issues with their PLA, ABS, or other materials. They extrude extremely well, are very consistent with their thickness, and i have even had rolls left on my printer for several months and yet they still kept out moisture and printed perfectly. I absolutely love their matte finish PLA. When your printer is well tuned the layer lines are nearly invisible. If you spray paint your 3D prints the coloring they use for their materials doesnt cause any running. I've sprayed other filament from different manufacturers and the PLA color tends to bleed into the primer but not with hatchbox. All around one of the best filament brands out there. ... show more

one of the best pastel colors I've purchased I had never used hatchbox but let me tell you I'll probably start using them more often the print quality is great, and adhesion was even better I had no issues on my first print.

Color: Silver
This has always been one of my faves from the Hatchbox PLA. Does a fairly decent job at concealing layer lines, especially at smaller layer heights. Never had any problems with bed adhesion, tangles, or diameter inconsistencies in the several rolls of this silver I've used. Always prints nice at 200c with a 60c bed heat. Has a nice subtle sparkly silver appearance to it depending on the model you're printing. Good stuff and definitely recommended to others! ... show more

This black Hatchbox color worked perfectly. Very reliable and consistent. Great prints. Not sure what else to say. I've had one bad color/roll from Hatchbox, but I think all others have been great and this black was one of the best.

Color: Pink
I am very new to 3d printing. I purchased the true pink color filament for printing some earrings for my daughters. The first roll of filament I used when I got my printer was black pla from hatchbox, and I had no issues with it. For some reason this roll of pink seems to print kind of stringy. Bed was level, and I tried adjusting the nozzle temps, but it kept dragging stringy material between stops. It still printed nice, it just left a lot of stringy material between pieces that had to be trimmed off. Overall I'm pretty happy with it. ... show more

HATCHBOX is the brand i go to when i need a color i cant find elsewhere. They are a little more expensive than their counterparts. I dont notice a significant difference between them and the cheaper brands, but ive never had a problem with them, and the filament is always great. I use HATCHBOX and SUNLU, and they both serve me well and provide consistently great prints with no hassle. ... show more

I have never had a problem using HatchBox products - they remain flexible (unlike MANY others I have tried) Colors run true and consistent across entire spools and across spools as well. I’ve had to change reels on white with 2 spools that were purchased many months apart - seamless, and absolutely zero color shift which on White is not easy to avoid. ... show more
