We just love this swing and it's not because it has every little feature - it doesn't. It has exactly what it needs and it's exactly the right size for our kids, and most important of all - it's really strong and super steady. I've gotten other swingsets here on Amazon and I've been happy with most of them, but none were made with support posts and overhead "pole" that are as large in diameter as this one. It's very large diameter and it's welded at the seam(s) perfectly and fully. And the gauge of the rolled stock that forms the poles is nice and thick also. This makes the set pretty heavy, and I love that. It stays very steady and for kids our age doesn't need anything fastening it to the ground - that's great because we like to move it around a bit to keep it in shady areas as the sun moves - that's pretty important here in sunny Central Florida where it can get too hot if un-shaded. The fasteners are very thick, well-made bolts and the nuts used are all nylon "lock nuts" with soft nylon caps that cover what could be sharp bolts that you don't want your children scraping against if a swing goes too far sideways. Instructions are not quite clear about making sure that bolt end (nut side) is supposed to be on the outside of the set, but it's easy enough to figure that out, and the nylon caps help reduce the potential problem if you build it backwards. Huge "fender" washers are included too and so it doesn't matter if a hole or two is a bit large - no fastener will ever be pulled through when tightening. I would say that when assembling it take note that the materials may have some irregularities, not so much from manufacturing - looks more like in packing, but it's nothing that's an issue. Worst thing I faced was a pipe end that was bent but easily straightened with the thick handle of a hammer as a lever, then a couple whacks from a rubber mallet to sort of re-circularize the end. The tolerances are loose enough that this solved the issue and everything fit just fine. Holes are drilled big enough and close enough within tolerance that it's easy to feed the bolts through without too much persuasion. Also I'd say it's important when assembling to tighten the multiple bolts evenly at each connection. If you tighten one bolt fully the other bolts loosen, even if they'd already been tightened fully - so it's best to work your way through the bolts tightening each one a half-turn (or less) at a time at the very end so that all can have the same approximate load on them - and don't over-tighten or you can bend the poles into an overly oval shape - and that's not as strong as a round shape, so I would just say that users should be aware of this when assembling. About 45 minutes for complete assembly by one person with one assistant to hold stuff together and fetch fasteners was what we experienced. I don't think it can be done much faster than this without risk of careless mistakes, but this is still a pretty quick assembly time in my opinion. Swings are high quality and free of anything sharp that would catch on kids clothing. Adjustability is very good and can be done on the fly for different sized children. We're very, VERY happy with this swingset and feel it's very high quality, very strong, and allows children to swing as high as they wish with good safety. We recommend it! ... show more

This is a nice little swing, perfect for a little backyard and for toddlers. After setting the swing up, we did a family test. I’m around 190 pounds, with the kid on my lap and my wife on the other swing. We did a soft and smooth swing, and this swing hold it perfectly well, thumbs up. As described, the poles are 60mm diameter, they are thick and that helps to make it feel safer and less bobbly than cheaper ones. The instructions for assembly were surprisingly good in my opinion, giving you some heads up for the next step into the assembly. Thumbs up. It was overall an easy assembly, just had a little problem with the 4 side poles. They are 2 pieces each and come together with some metal ‘sleeves’ and bolts. There are 4 bolts in each pole, when I tighten one all the way, then the other ones were getting loose. Little by little, one twist at the time and I got them tight enough to my high safety standards. They didn’t save on bolts and nuts in every joint, so I’m pretty sure this thing won’t collapse at all. Hope they are stainless steel and hold well. Just set it up right before the Connecticut winter, let’s see how it holds. Overall happy with the built sturdiness of this swing. Perfect for a toddler. ... show more
