    • Fantastic Glow-in-the-dark PLA

I definitely bought this on a whim during a sale and I'm glad I did. This green glow-in-the-dark PLA prints like a charm. I initially tried printing it using the default PLA settings for my printer in OrcaSlicer and it did quite well. I made some fun little tokens for the kiddos. I then ran a temperature tower and low-and-behold the best print temperature I got was the one recommended, 200C. I used 205-65 for the first later and then dropped to 200-60 over the next layer. It has a beautiful sheen to it in the daylight and quite a nice glow in the dark. With only 2-3 layers, there's enough luminescence to make a difference! My son is already asking for the blue glow-in-the-dark next. Overall, it has great adhesion, good strength, good luminescence, and it prints well (including minimal stringing when dry). Oh, and I should mention that it was rolled well too. Right now I'm printing with a coated copper nozzle. If I start doing more of these prints, I'll throw on my hardened steel nozzle, as glow-in-the-dark filaments can be pretty abrasive. Haosegd has found a new customer and I can't wait to try more of their products! ... show more

I am absolutely certain that many of us didn't bother reading how big the spools were; I would not have spent $50 on 1.25kg of filament. Then the filament spool did not fit my Ender3v2 or my Anycubic MegaS holder. Well I made it work (long screw driver and vice grips. The quality was actually better than the spool I just came off. Same settings (.2mm visibility), this filament was on the right (lighter blue), and printed clearer. I am still having some adhesion issues with this. It says build plate should be 55 and then lower on the page it says 60 to 80, I have mine set to 50 and i still see blistering in the PLA. ... show more

Great with a 3d pen i wish there were more options in the pack i use red purple and black a lot and dont feel like buying another pack and have 2 rolls of white and blue. A creat your own bundle or multiple packs with diferent collors would be great

The product works ok but have had several issues where the filament gets tangled coming off the spool and causes problems with the print. Have had several failures due to tangled filament.

    • Stress curls and comes loose from build plate every time, I give up.
I won't write a less than positive review without doing my homework. So, this review will be detailed. The raw material looks good. The spool center is small and meant for a specific brand of machine, but can be easily cut out to fit a standard 1 3/16" spool, and that works fine. I tried the first print at recommended settings 200c-50c. Not even close to working. I disassembled and cleaned the hot end to ensure best possible feeding, new nozzle, and my plate cleaning and leveling are always thorough. Then I tried 210c-55c, 210c-60c, 215c-60c, 215c-65c, and lastly 215c-70c. I adjusted the feed from 40-50mm/s in 3mm/s intervals. The material simply has terrible bed adhesion. I literally did nine test prints, printing three different known parts, one of which I have six setting on my desk, printed with another manufacturers PLA. I have used most of one spool of filament trying to make it work, and am giving up. I'm not going to mention the other PLA brands I use here, I don't think that's appropriate. But I do not recommend this filament. If you've gotten it to work, I applaud you. I've tried all of my standard parameter adjustments to make it work, and if I have to do more than I have, it's not worth using. Very sorry, PLA colors are hard to come by right now. I had high hopes for this bundle, hence my efforts over the last week of evenings. But it sucks to get 45mins. into a print and see it lifting up. Good luck, happy printing. ... show more
