These tarps are wonderful. The contractors working at our house were using cheaper thinner tarps which kept tearing as they walked on them, letting sheet rock dust get through to the carpeting. These are so substantial that it's highly unlikely that they'd rip unless extreme force was used. They have grommets so you can secure them, or tie them down. Tarps aren't an exciting purchase so there's really nothing exciting to say about them. However, the higher price is money well spent, since they are going to hold up and can be reused multiple times, unlike the cheaper traps which are easily damaged. ... show more

Like anything else on here, ratings will be based on expectation and product usage. I purchased this tarp for temporary cover while hunting. It works great for that. However, it’s not super thick, so I wouldn’t recommend using this as a weather-resistant, heavy-duty tarp to cover patio furniture for 3 months during the winter (for example). I used this to keep water away from a section of a roof that leaks. Held the water at bay for months until the roof could be repaired. Because of the design of the roof, It had to hold a small pool of water which never evaporates away. When properly secured winds and sun didn't cause any tears in the material. I use bungee cords to keep in place. Now my work truck is clean and ready to go each morning. Only had a month or so, waiting to see how it holds up in the Texas sun. I ordered multiple tarps from Hanjet in different sizes and I would give the same highest level of recommendation for both. As there was a large selection from which to choose - I Lucked—Out! I am extremely happy - Both are very sturdy and waterproof without being unmanageably stiff. I’m covering my wood pile; providing protection for pool gear and cast iron grill oven .. neighbor is borrowing one to protect her van during my roof / construction work. I seriously wish an option would be an heavy ‘elastic band’ around the edges (like the old Tupperware ‘shower cap’ fridge covers) that could semi-secure the bottom placement to minimize need for ties or stakes - perfect for car or wood pile. ... show more

I just barely started using one of them so I don't know about 'water resistant, durability, or if easy to fold'. I use many tarps for property clean-up such as branches, leaves, etc to pull over to our trailer to dispose of so I'm hoping these are durable... although having to drag will inevitably take it's toll on any tarp. I bought 2 of these tarps so hope they can with stand usage plus descent priced. I would advise those looking for tarps to view the different Mil thickness for whatever your using them for... states in title or under description. ... show more
