This is an upgrade for us from an old sterno pot, and I love that we don’t have to mess with fuel and an open flame anymore. The temperature is so much easier to control! My one complaint is the plug- it’s a magnetic breakaway, which is great for ensuring that you don’t drag the whole pot off the table if you get caught on the cord, but it’s a little loose and tends to become detached more easily than I’d like. This is the first fondue pot I’ve owned so I can’t compare to other brands but it works great. Gets very hot and was easy to clean. My only complaint is that the cord is short which limits where you can set it up.

Perfect size for cheeses or entrees! It works well for dessert but I prefer a little smaller. This is our third pot and my favorite so far.
