    • One of my favorite purchases maybe ever?
I bought this machine so I could try and replicate the frozen Dr. Pepper from McDonald’s, and it works AMAZING!! I did a lot of research before buying since they aren’t exactly cheap, but this to me is worth every penny! First off there are a few tips to know that are super helpful to ensure your icee experience goes smooth. Freeze the middle canister for a minimum of 15-30 mins and chill your drink of choice before trying to make anything otherwise it’s going to take way longer to make and since the machine is a tad bit noisy I try to do what I can to cut back on the run time. Next would be make sure whatever you are trying to icee that it is high in sugar or it will NOT WORK. It’s honestly super easy to use and personally I have loved trying all different kinds of “icee” flavors aka soda, don’t bother buying the syrups unless it’s something you really want. Soda and high sugar drinks are what I have found work best and keeps it on the budget friendly side. Lastly it’s really easy to clean!! The lid comes off completely and the middle removes as well! This was an awful purchase and couldn’t return it because it had been longer than 30 days. I had not even tried to use it until the weather got warmer. Money lost just put it in trash! $157.00 down the drain!

    • Plan ahead for fun
This isn’t a product you can whip out and expect slushees right away. It takes some forethought and planning but the kids love it. I’ve used it a few times this year to make kids slushees but the adult “slushees” are a huge hit, too. Easy to set up and a quick wipe down or squirt with the hose and it’s clean. ... show more

    • Doesn't really make an Icee but more like a snow cone drink
You add water with syrup in the outer compartment and with the ice and salt in the middle compartment, the rotating blades in the outer compartment shaves ice off the aluminum container as it forms. At some point there is enough shaved ice mixed in to dispense. However, an important difference is that a true ICEE has carbonation and this machine can't carbonate the beverage. So the beverage made with it is not like an ICEE and is kind of flat in comparison. If you want a machine that can make a shaved ice beverage, this machine is a bit fussy but it'll do it.     • Decent little machine
This little ICEE is a decent little machine that will make a nice summer treat. You will need to follow the instructions exactly to make it produce a slushy/slurry drink. My original ice container had a tiny hole at its base. This caused the ice/salt mixture to leak into syrup. However, the companies customer service team immediately shipped me a replacement part and I received it in 3 days. Awesome customer service. One of the best I have seen on Amazon The only drawback is the instructions are hard to read due to small print size and a bit disorganized. The instructions could be improved by segmenting the aspects of the machines such as: Part 1 Assembly. Part 2 Operating Instructions Part 3 Troubleshooting. And so on.     • The Consistency was different than expected
This machine is perfect. It’s so fun for the kids and I to use. The only downside is cleaning it, making sure every part gets clean. I will say it uses A LOT of salt I was not prepared for that part so cleaning every part is very Important. It also makes a “slush” consistency, not an “icy” consistency. The item was shipped from digital commerce llc. Seal on item box showed it had been previously opened, also still had some residual tape and wrapping paper showing someone had gifted it, then returned it. Was obvious why it had been returned because the motor did not work. this company knowingly sent a product they knew was defective. Seems to happen a lot with vendors. Perhaps a class-action lawsuit is order to stop this deceptive practice ... show more

    • Way too overpriced for the quality.
Was able to make a few subpar slushies from this machine. The process is way too time consuming and the machine itself is rickety. Stored it for the winter in my pantry. Pulled it out for the warmer season and now the lid doesn't even fit! It some how shrunk!? The dispenser portion is difficult to clean and contained mold when I pulled it from storage despite washing before and after storing. 2 stars because I did get a couple of slushies out of it which made my kid happy.
