    • Very nice quality and easy to use
The T851 Offroad seems to be a great board so far. It is well built and looks very nice. There are a few different safety features, but I really like being able to adjust the speed limit while learning. It's also pretty neat that the LEDs act as turn signals, that's a nice touch. It has been very easy for my 13, 11, and 9 year old to use. After a couple of minutes you would think they are pros. The offroad capabilities are very nice. My son has been driving through the yard both up and down hills and the grass & dirt don't seem to be any problem. We were very surprised with the bluetooth speaker. It has a very nice rich sound to it and seems just as good of quality as the board itself. The battery life and charging times seem to be right on par with what is promised. An hour and a half to two hours to charge gets you 2 to 2 and a half hours run time, possibly more depending on the rider's weight, your speed, and terrain. The app is working fine on iOS, but on Android 8.0 and 9.0 it wants to update after opening. If you select update it crashes and you have to restart again. I am currently talking with Gyroor about that and they were very quick to contact the app developer... hopefully that gets corrected soon. Not taking off any stars for this since they have been very responsive on this issue so far. There will be some grammar and translation errors in the manual and welcome letter, but it is a very nice quality letter and decent enough manual. English is not their first language, but the support team has been great so far. The app also only shows the speed in KPH with no option for MPH. That would be a simple app update and doesn't take away from the board at all, but there really needs to be an option to toggle it to MPH.     • Great quality - fair price- great customer service
We did a lot of research before we bought this product. We wanted a good battery life And something that was tough enough to get used!... and it has that! It even goes up and down hills smoothly. It tells you when it needs to be plugged in or if it needs to be shut off. And we didn’t need a $600+ hoverboard but something tough and fun. Everything works great with this hoverboard. I do wish it was waterproof so if my son hits a puddle it won’t damage anything. But we will just be careful :) also, I’ll say this. If you didn’t read the manual - plug it in to a power strip to charge - we didn’t and the battery pack got so hot it melted! But customer service was PROMPT and sent a new charger to us within a day of us contacting them! Haven’t had an issue since we used the power strip. I’m very impressed with their customer service and with the product. My 11 year old son loves it and so do all of the adults in our lives! Haha. It’s fun - the Bt speaker works great and it’s a smooth ride! Great toy to have! ... show more

Before I purchased this hoverboard I had one of those original hoverboards that were all over the internet for years now. It has always worked great but I thought that there should definitely be some better ones out there. This Gyroor YS1 looked good and had a similar form factor but it's a piece of junk. The software it uses is unfinished and poorly made. The build quality is questionable. The lights are nice but the gyroscope system is total garbage. This "offroad" hoverboard cant even go over carpets without losing balance. I'm so disappointed and I hope this product gets removed off amazon because it is a safety hazard! As someone who has been using hoverboard for years I almost fell off this hoverboard many times. It's janky, cheap, and all around garbage! ... show more

    • Takes the tumbles and works you out.
I got two kids 10 and 12 and they LOVE the T581. I do too. Had one for us for a month and they whined about have to wait to ride it, so I got a second one. That was our two big gifts for the year. The auto-balance was very cool, to start learning and now I've turned that off, except when the neighbor kids show up for their "turns". I was concerned that just standing on a board would not be so "active", but with all the weight shifts and leans, it REALLY works the core and balance centers. Its been 9 months and they have scratches all over, but the T581 mechanics are rock solid. Kids don't have devices to run music, but I use the app to set the lights for them and when I go out, I put on the smooth tunes (which embarrasses the kids) which I love. It is also fun to play with the speed limiter setting, to keep the races challenging. So, I'm back thinking about a third one, so we can all go out together. Gyroor has worked for us. ... show more

    • Great product - Worthless App
The hoverboard works great and is very easy to get use to. My 10 year old and 6 year old are racing around on it through the neighborhood. The battery lasts at least an hour on a full charge of a slow cruising speed. This thing was scratched to all hell within the first 20 minutes, for an off-road model, it should have come with more rubber around the edges. It also has a hard time going on any grass, dirt, or over even mid size divets in the ground. My main issue is with the app to manage this device. The company asks for way too much information from your phone (call/text history, photos, videos, location) and after giving them that, the app doesn't connect 90% of the time and when it does, you get disconnected after each session. On top of all that, the App also has constant ads and popups. If they fixed their app to be a proper peice of software for $300 hoverboard, I would give them a 5/5 review. Until then, the hoverboard features of LED lights, battery indicator, and odometer are unusable and should not be a selling point. ... show more
