The media could not be loaded. I bought this because I collect scaled down die cast cars. This particular RC car got my attention because the degree of detail for a 1:18 Lamborghini. It’s not die cast but hard plastic. But the quality is top notch and it has some heft to it. Setting aside its great build quality. This RC model works well. The car is very zippy and easy to control. Pretty basic control. Up/Down for acceleration. Left/Right to steer. As a toy or hobby, this is a perfect beginner RC. If your son or daughter is into RC cars - you can’t go wrong with this. I would say it’s for indoors use only and on flat surface. But the tires seems to hold well outside. The front day lights turns on when going forward. The red back lights turns on when backing. Pretty neat! They are LEDs so they are bright and should last long. The price point is about right and comparable to other models - a bit cheaper even. But you get the same feature, quality and level of fun. The RC package requires 6 AA batteries (4 for the car and 2 for the remote). I bought the battery along with the car here in Amazon. Pretty cheap too. ... show more

The car has very bright headlights and runs very fast and the steering was great. My kid has used it on the hardwood floors, carpet, and outside on the sidewalks.
