These plates and bowls are so nice ( 4 of each). They are heavy ( not TOO heavy) and very classy. I am immediately ordering another set. I am obsessed with dishes and have many; I am just loving this all black set. I also really appreciate the simplicity of the order- just plates and bowls. I wasn't expecting them to be so heavy. They feel nice, they're smooth, and clean easily. The weight to them may be an issue if you're storing them up high or on something that can't handle heavy things but for me they're perfect. I prefer a heftier plate. These are not only beautiful but when I was taking the pictures I dropped the dinner plate on its rim from standing to my vynal floor and it did not damage the plate one bit. I bought a second set. Highly recommend!

First ordered arrived and the plates were shattered. Arranged for a replacement order and that arrived with shattered plates too! Set up a return for the first 2 orders and ordered this product for a third time and the bowls arrived shattered!! I had to keep the plates from the third order and swap out the bowls from the third order with the bowls from the first order so that I can have a complete bowl and plate set that wasn't shattered\broken. The reason why I kept ordering the set was because aside from it being shattered, the set was actually VERY beautiful and I loved it so much! Plus, it was at a good price too! Not sure if it was the manufacturer's error or the Amazon drivers. My good guess is that it was the drivers mishandling the delivery! The order arrived padded, (I wouldn't say well padded), but shattered and broken!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!! ... show more
