These 1.5" cubes are great for 2" net cups for hydroponics. I recently got into hydroponics a few months ago and I bought the 2" and the 1" only to find that one is to big and the other is to small. The 1.5" cubes fit perfectly into the bottom of the net cup and work great for a median for my happy plants! I highly recommend their rockwool cubes, you won't be disappointed! ... show more

    • Get Riot Rooter. These are junk.
These things are junk. I started a plant 🌱 in one of these, and one in a Riot Rooter. The riot rooter easily won. I have no idea why people recommend these. I think that’s all they used to have for starting seedlings. Save your time and money. With these you have to soak them in PH balanced water, and even then the seeds struggle. The Riot Rooter cubes are just like soil in their consistency, and they have nutrients for seedlings, so you put in the seed and a little water, and you are good to go. ... show more

Not original grodan from what I can tell. came in blank packaging and was ripped in half (to make 49) I put my cares to the side this time...until 3 days into using them green mold popped up on all of them (not algae)

Grodan is the way to go. I’ve tried rockwool from a few other companies, and I find myself coming back to Grodan every time. I’m only trying other companies because I like to try and determine which is the best.

Just as described. Size was perfect and absorption great. The product was packaged nicely and come with gloves to use as well. I will order from here again.
