Fan works well, moves a decent amount of air and isn't hugely noisy, filter is well built, the ducting diameter is smaller than the ends of both however and it takes great work to cut and work ducting to fit under rings but would easily fit INSIDE the openings on the fan but then there's no way to clamp on. ... show more

Filter mounts right to duct fan but slightly loose, sealed with foil tape and a clamp for safety and is now snug/air tight. I liked how much air this fan moves and how relatively quiet it is for its size. I got the 6 inch size fan to exhaust hot air out of my grow room and it works pretty good. My room has gown down 10 degrees since installing the fan. It took a little while to dial it in with the timer but definitely got the job done once set up properly. Like everything else they sell, comes in broken, and SpiderFarmer dies not respond to any messages or emailsz so even if you do get something that works from them, and it goes bad, there is no way to contact them. The controller is cheap too, no app ir smart controller, you have to go git buttons to change anything like its 1970. Stay Away from spider farmer ... show more

Great as a simple fan, but you can’t set a minimum fan speed when using the automatic mode to reduce temperature or humidity. Seems the controller doesn’t really work as expected. I’m forced to use the always on mode to maintain a negative pressure in my grow space.
