This 6” fan and controller are so great. It’s so quiet we don’t notice it running. At first the controller was hard to understand but it kinda explains each step. So once you get through all the modes and setting them. It controls the exhaust and humidity to targets. I like this feature. Cause I don’t understand the other feature as much. I think targeting works best. I also have humidifier plugged into it. lol I bought it because the ac infinity humidifier goes nuts without the controller ... show more

    • Quality meets Price Affordability While Maintaining a Premium Look/Feel
Size: 6-Inch PRO, Smart Controller
For the pricing, the quality is top notch. Positives: 1) Pricing for the very top notch quality 2) Noise: 50% or less speed and it's like a quiet desktop computer with high CFM input/output 3) Wattage is ridiculously low. On full speed the wattage is around 30 watts continuous. That is almost nothing when you compare it to a cheap box fan which is usually around 65 watts or a ceiling fan around 110 watts. 4) Speed controller is high quality, looks great, and works quite well. Can control the fan one of several ways, temp, percent, etc. There is a temp sensor you can plug in and set the temp you want. I believe there is a speed curve for that, so the higher the detected temp, the faster the fan will go to exhaust it. Negatives: 1) The lack of a bypass for the inline fan - There is no way to run the unit without their speed controller. 2) Despite having 2x connections on the back for another fan, they do not current sell separate fans without the controller and currently they do not even support 2x fans wattage wise. They are going to add support for dual fans in a future model according to customer service when I contacted them on a previous question. 3) There is no simple way to utilize this as an actual A/C (HVAC) inline fan controlled by the thermostat. You would have to have the speed controller mounted somewhere to directly control it. ... show more
