This should work just fine on my electric riding mower with some research needed on a mower forum for mounting. Maybe it will be used to drag stuff rather than winch. This way i have options moving yard stuff. Not sure how it would deal with a heavy pull but my use is unlikely to include that.

This is for the 13,500 pound rated Rugcel winch (sold by GRIPWAY). I've been researching alternatives to the high end, super expensive winches, (who over the years have declining reputations), and Rugcel had been on my radar for at least a year - mostly in the 10,000 range. Due to previous very positive reviews I did not hesitate to acquire this 13,500 pound winch for my SUV. Upon initial inspection, this winch appears to be excellent quality and while I cannot yet test it I will update my review when my winch mount/bumper is ready (in 2-6 weeks from submitting this review). Going with the synthetic rope on this winch (instead of metal wire/rope) is a huge safety plus and one of the reason I chose it. Less chance of cause a catastrophic failure and put someone in peril. I will likely remove the metal hook and the loop too. And re-thread it so it's ALL "soft" and use soft shackles only. More to come but anticipating an excellent winch. ... show more

I had been needing a winch for my side by side. I have the Polaris RZR XP 1000 and decided on this one based on it's weight bearing capacity. The 2000lb strength is really good for the weight of the vehicle. I ran a few tests today and the winch pulled it with ease. This thing is heavy duty, weighs in at about 10-15lbs. Onto the install! Okay, so this comes with the plate for the winch itself and the guiding rollers. You will need to get a plate specific to whatever your side by side is. The front cap had to come off to install this, which is super easy on the RZR. Just a few torx bolts. Pull that off, and run your wiring to the battery and you will be getting yourself out of tight spots in no time. I'll be putting this to the test even more in the coming months and will report back on longevity. ... show more

I received a Rugcel brand winch with identical specs to this listing. That being said the rugcel winch has great reviews, product seems really well made. Downside is this listing is about $2.50 more expensive than buying the rugcel directly.

The media could not be loaded. This winch is on the larger end when it comes to vehicle winches, and at 13.5k it will easily drag my F350 if I don't rigorously block all 4 tires. Synthetic line, wireless remote ... this is the best winch design out there at the moment. Note that some winches have integrated control boxes. This one has to be bolted on.
