  • I’m in love❤️
Great sound, beautiful finish. At first it kept going out of tune ( probably due the tension and the angle at the nut.) I solved that by using BigBends string lubricant at the nut and the bridge. It allows the strings to return to tune when using the Bigsby. I just love the guitar now.

  • Excellent Guitar with great Clean Sound
This is my first guitar and the only one I've ever played & owned. It sounds very good. I enjoy it. The orange stain color is nice. It has a nice finish. It stays in tune fairly well. I'm a beginner, but I didn't find any problem with the fret board, frets, and setup. It all seems to be in order. There's no fret buzzing. The guitar feels pretty heavy, but I can't compare it to any other guitars since this is the only one I've ever tried. I tried the bigsby initially, but it seems to take the guitar out of tune very quickly so I never use it anymore. If I had to do it over, I would've bought a guitar without a bigsby. It's totally not needed. I don't know why this guitar costs as much as it does. There seems to be other good guitars for a lower price. I bought this one because I like Gretsch guitars because I like having a nice clean sound which is suitable for rockabilly & chuck berry songs, and I wanted all gold hardware which this has, and I wanted a bigsby, which I don't anymore. I got a big discount on the one that I bought. This is a very nice guitar and I like it more as I increase my ability to play guitar. I was also able to get a very good dirty sound on it too, not too dirty but more of a classic rock or soft rock kind of sound, which I like. I am using the Fender Mustang I V2 20 watt amp with it. It sounds great and it's very affordable. ... show more
