The non-stick is great but you have to cook just a bit differently than you're use to. Only wish I could add another saucepan and lid to my set but they don't seem to sell those separately.

Bought to replace old non stick pans. I have been very careful so far in order to avoid scratches etc. Also following the directions-not soaking until the pan has cooled off. not using high heat, cooking spray or metal utensils. So far so good. They still look brand new. The pans heat up incredibly fast and evenly. Once cooled just a quick wash with a soft sponge is all you need. Green Pan has many higher priced lines but I didn't want to spend that much. I researched on their website first but Amazon's price was the same plus free shipping. 4 stars for durability because I haven't had them that long to judge. Great purchase! ... show more

I hate to cook. No seriously nothing in me likes to cook. Somehow years ago I found I had a GreenPan. Still don't have a clue where it came from. But it was magic. Nothing ever burnt , nothing stuck and it washed up to the point it looked new. So when I moved I decided to buy a set. And the same thing. They are like magic. You will love them. Five months later and this set has already worn out. I followed all directions - cooked on medium or lower heat, hand washed, and only used silicone utensils. When I first got this set I loved them, the non-stick worked so well I didn’t even need oil. Less than five months later, the non-stick coating is terrible and I have to use a lot of oil to get food to not stick. The photo is after cooking eggs, and it shows so much stuck on residue. This was after using more oil than I ever used to use with the pans I replaced with these (that were 8 years old). I wish I would have never wasted my money on this set. ... show more

    • Cleaning the outside of the pan

Attractive; yet pans had to warm up for 90 seconds and cooking oil added before each use. I didn't notice that some of the oil dripped outside the pan and slid under a part of the bottom. It was impossible to remove the places where the oil dripped and the bottom heating was affected as well.
