I have a Playseats gaming chair also, and this item is just as high quality at a much lower price. If you don't need the sliding adjustment on the chair, I highly recommend this one. As for all the other adjustments such as distance to foot pedals, angle of foot pedals, distance to hand controls, and height of hand controls, this functions exactly the same as the Playseat. The price is probably the best on Amazon with the price ranging from $199 -$248, easy to pick it up for $225. There is a version very similar, but the wheel mount is a lower quality square tube and the price is about the same. There are some higher quality versions out there, but the cost is $50-$150 higher. This unit collapses pretty well and filts on a little mini-dolly with the wheel and pedals attached and slides off to a corner or closet. Expand and peers up in just a few minutes with easy turn nobs. I’ve got a black one and this red trim model... very nice, and the blue is on the wish list. ... show more

This is a budget racing seat that in my opinion will suffice for most home use. My kids and friends enjoyed trying it out. Ultimately I returned it because for me I need a more rigid frame and being able to slide the seat like a real car was worth the upgrade for me, I race a lot.
