  • one word: WOW! with caveats
Style: Wireless
I finally bought this headset after looking for so many brands, reading countless reviews... and the only thing i can say is: WOW! (in the sound department). Sound: Without EQing your phone, laptop or console sounds very very good, when you EQ it sounds even better but when Dolby Atmos gets in the way... prepare to be mindblown! I did not know that a wireless headset could sound that good! VERY well-balanced between the mid-lo and lo frequencies! But i have to admit: i was watching the walking dead and i was so immersed on the show that when my cousin touched my shoulder to pay her attention (i didn't know she was behind me and i didn't hear her calling me) i almost had a heart attack ahhahaahh i literally jumped up the roof! and after that, the sounds are so specific-placed that sometimes i was like "ok, was this here within the show or outside?"... just WOW! i love this headset! Construction: The headset itself it's well constructed, kinda sturdy, but when using it a lot it starts to have some creaking sounds due to the use (i presume). However, i have witnessed this kind of creaking sounds in other headsets as well so i'm use to it, not new for me. Also, when you accidentally touch the headset with something (cord of your cellphone bringing over your head from the other side, when tweaking the volume, etc.), the plastic structure of the headset makes a major sound that may disrupt to the user, i'm also use to this because i've been dealing with this issue since the pulse (the 99$ version from ps3 back in the day). Design: The headset have limited reach for big heads like me, so part of the faux leather reaching almost 1/4 my ears because the expanding band is short and i have to kind of accomodate the headset so i can hear perfectly every sound... Each time i'm putting it on, i'm like 30 seconds fitting into my head but that's ok, it's worth it! One major flaw that i encountered is how short the mic is! at first i tried to stretch it but apparently it's fixed onto one place. However, you can move it out or up and down but that's it! Microphone quality: According to the people who heard me, they did hear me pretty well, regular with standard sound, not much bass nor treble. I also tried it on pc and it does sound like that, it doesn't sound like you are inside a box (lack of lo and mid-lo, much hi and mid-hi). It does sound properly, BUT it doesn't have much of noise cancellation so if you have too much noise in your environment, people may hear it. Battery: Well i gotta admit that sometimes i'm going like 12 or 13 hour-straight of gaming. It does hold up to the task but sometimes it feels like it doesn't. From what i've seen it might be because of volume? That's the only theory that i'm having for now but generally, when i stop playing i immediately put to charge because i drain the battery because long gaming sessions. No issues here (thank god! i love cordless at this point!) Dual-connection: this is the second godsend! having a cellphone connected additionally, you can pick up calls or use discord and play at the same time! (mind you, that i have discord also on the xbox but sometimes for some reason it doesn't work on the console)... i can also hear music that i have in my phone and calls!... i absolutely love this function! and it's so easy to pair the second device! Another thing that's good is the fact that as soon as you turn it on, it automatically connects on both previously paired devices, this is a win for me! Conclusion: IF you are willing to these trade-offs priorizing sound, i can almost asure you that you won't regret! For the price it does the job, but you will have to keep in mind that you may witness the caveats i'm having on a daily basis when you will be using it on a daily basis as well. Keep in mind that this headset is relatively cheap and if you're looking for a sturdy, heavy-duty and very well-constructed headset, this may not be for you but if you are willing to deal with all the things i put above, prioritizing sound, i promise you, it won't disappoint you! ... show more

  • Pretty Impressed
Style: Wireless
I had some Stealth 700 which I will say I had connectivity issues with them since I purchased them. Did a warranty on them within the first 45 days and the exact same issue was occuring. Sound was awesome which is why I never looked elsewhere. The price was more the the Xbox Wireless Headset. I saw the reviews on the Xbox Wireless and the price, so I made the purchase. Let me just say, wow. This are pretty good for the price. I have yet to experience connectivity issues right out of the box. Easy to pair, do updates, change your audio settings. I even used my Dolby Atmos with these for customized sound settings. I did get them a bit discounted compared to original price. Headset is comfortable. My ears do get a little warm but not unbearable. The mic monitoring and auto mute option is cool. You can adjust the sensitivity. I do wish the mic was a little longer since sometimes you cannot see when the mic is muted off the light. The mic is sensitive too since sometimes you can hear my buttons. Might just need to adjust the settings. Will update if any iasues occur. ... show more

  • Awesome freaking headset, not only for XBOX but for PC and phone too
Style: Wireless
I have two headsets before purchasing this one: the Razer Blackshark and the Logitech X Pro. The bass quality of my current headset is incredibly good. The overall treble and midrange sounds are also excellent. However, when using the headset with my Xbox, I had to adjust the levels, particularly the treble, because at first, it sounded like there was no treble sound coming through. But after adjusting the settings, the audio quality was perfect. I also had to lower some of the bass as it was not necessary for gaming purposes. The headset works seamlessly with my PC and phone connections, and no adjustments are necessary. The sound quality is perfect for listening to music and watching movies. Additionally, there is no need for a USB dongle, as Bluetooth connectivity is perfectly compatible. The battery life is impressive, as it can easily last for up to 12 hours of continuous music playback. The sound is loud and crisp, just how I like it for music listening. If I had known this before, I wouldn't have spent my money purchasing the other headset as this is literally an all in 1 headset. ... show more

  • Really Wanted To Like These But..
Style: Wireless
There is alot to like about these headphones. Pros: 1. Dual ear cup volume control is really sick for tweaking chat/game sound in real time. Game changer. 2. Great noise isolation. It's really good. 3. Rock solid sound. No complaints 4. Battery life is really good, charges fast However, there are some cons. 1. The plastic piece that holds the mic to the headphones is weak (at least mine was). Set them down once and it just..broke. So now I've got em duck taped together and that barely works. Plus I look dumb, which isn't really that new of a thing I guess. 2. Sometimes the connection is weird and sound will either be super loud or non-existent. Seems like the calibration of the cups may be off for some games. Not really sure, but it is annoying. Really solid headphones for the price, and i would recommend for mid-tier gaming headphones, just be aware of the potential issues. ... show more
