I bought two and put them both at my desk where I spend the majority of my indoor time. They get filled to the brim with everything from paper to French fries to banana peels. Because they are a mesh design I would not suggest anything other than paper be thrown into these baskets to avoid unwanted leaks. They look nice and do not take up a lot of room. I know, I know, they're trash cans. How exciting can they be? Not very. But these are really nice. I wanted one to store my yoga mats. They came in a two-pack. So I'm using one for my yoga mats and one as a trash can (fancy that). One of them easily holds my three yoga mats rolled up, with a little room for a yoga block and strap. it's stable and won't tip over.
