I was impressed by the reviews for those product and had high expectations. I never leave negative reviews - this might be my first, actually - but the nozzle shaft split within the first two weeks of use. Into the trash it goes. UPDATE: I am impressed with this company's customer service. Reading my original review, they reached out immediately and offered a new spray nozzle free of charge. This is a very durable watering wand. It has both a flow control valve and an easily operated on/off valve. Flow can be adjusted for everything from watering delicate flowers to washing a car. The on/off valve is very easy to use and includes a full on latch. This is much better than nozzles that have to be twisted off or on during use. The wand is made from metal, not plastic. It should last for many years, unless it’s accidentally left outside with standing water in the pipe during a freeze (that’s why I’m on wand number two). If the pinholes in the head get blocked by debris, the head and diffuser disk is removable for easy cleaning. The only downside? It does not contain multiple flow patterns for those that want them, but I find it does everything I want with just the existing flow control knob. All in all, it’s a bargain compared to other plastic wands that are only slightly less expensive. ... show more

This wand is perfect for watering my outdoor potted plants. The water comes out at the optimum pressure and amount. The sprayers I used in the past (not this one) either came out too slow so it took forever to water, or it came out too fast and forcefully and caused the soil to come out of the planter. I'm so glad to finally have a sprayer that has the right amount of water and pressure. I also love the features of having a knob to regulate water flow and the handle to squeeze when I want water to come out. GREEN MOUNT Watering Wand, 24 Inches: This was a recent purchase (June\July 2021), and so far, I have only used it once. That said, I am quite satisfied with the way it works. I purchased it so I would be able to water outside plants directly at their root zone - without having to do those uncomfortable back bends. The sprayer end of the wand has many very tiny holes, which provide a good flow of water. There is a knob that allows you to adjust the strength\volume of the water flow. There is also a handle that allows you to turn on the water and shut it off. It's quite easy to use and I found it comfortable to use. As mentioned above, so far I have only used this waterer once; it did not leak at the connection point of the hose and the wand - which I liked. I think it would also be useful for watering hanging baskets as well. Bear in mind, although you can adjust the water volume with the knob, this watering wand does not have different spray settings such as cone, stream, jet, flat, fan, angle, etc. etc. etc. If you need or want all those spray settings, you should purchase another product. However, the adjusting knob for water flow makes this waterer quite versatile. Final note: it appears to be sturdily constructed. ... show more

    • Durable - not every option but doesn’t leak!

This is probably the 5th or 6th type of watering wand I’ve tried. Compared to all the others, this one is a winner - mostly because it does what it’s supposed to do and doesn’t leak. Wands in my experience and notorious for failure and leaking, even the ones with guarantees and a good name. This one is the ONLY one I’ve tried that has held up consistently with no problems in leaking or breakdown in any way. It is not heavy on features. There is only one spray pattern. But it’s the one I used 80-90% of the time anyway - just a regular sprinkle. And there is no adjustment on the length of the wand, nor on the angle of the spray head. The length is reasonably long though, which is often needed. And the sprayer is built with a slight angle, so it’s very useable. These different features are sometimes the cause of failure in other wands anyway, and built the way it is, not having these features is not that limiting. I did only give 4 stars for maneuverability for that reason - sometimes the long wand is less maneuverable in tight spaces. But that’s rarely really an issue either. One thing it does do that I love is the on/off trigger. It’s VERY easy to use, and works perfectly. In fact, it’s often easy to vary the pressure on the trigger and control the water output, so I can move from sturdy plants to seedlings without an issue. This unit costs more, and lacks features often seen in other brands. But I would recommend it far and above the others because all of them tend to develop leaks that end up spraying me while I’m trying to water. I am planning to order an extra one for the other faucet, and so to have an extra on hand if this one should ever wear out. I wouldn’t want to be without one. ... show more
