The media could not be loaded. I was looking to replace my older watering wand that was past its prime. I found this one, was intrigued and decided to order one. Once my new wand arrived the first thing I notice was how well it was made. I love the fact that I could control the water flow with a squeeze trigger. At the very bottom of the wand where it connects to the hose is a clip that when flipped up holds the trigger in the on position. This is a nice feature for someone who has a large area to water as it will help with hand fatigue. Also if you suffer from arthritis or have a disability that makes gripping an item difficult or painful this water wand is what you need. The head has very small holes that makes the water flow so fine it's almost like a mist. There is a knob that you can turn to adjust the amount of water volume that the water wand produces which is perfect for watering different types of plants. I am an avid gardener and start all my plants from either cuttings or seeds in my greenhouse. This wand is perfect because I can water all my starts without damaging or uprooting my young plants. I am a horticulturist and have used numerous wands commercially and personally. I usually go back to Dramm as they have held up for years. I needed a new wand for watering potted plants, the garden, rooting cuttings and landscape plants. I like that it can be left on with the clip, but a favorite feature is the flow control. Most wands with a trigger or shutoff, use it to control the volume. On this one, the volume can be lowered so that the full flow with the trigger held in is harder or softer. Even on hard, the flow is fairly gentle, but strong enough for the landscape. Most wands for me start to leak where they connects to the hose (even with a new washer), the trigger starts to leak or it just does not hold. up. I am curious to see how this one does. Update: I have 2 of these and after using for a few years with no problems, I am very pleased and recommend them. ... show more

    • Broke just after Amazon's return window closed....later after contact, replaced by vendor
The wand cleaved clear off at the hose attachment after little use. There is no warranty from the manufacturer so buy at your own risk. Later: Was able to contact manufacturer via contact info from other reviews. They requested pictures of the wand which I supplied. They then replaced the wand with another at their expense. So far, the new wand works well. I appreciate that they stood by their product. Moved review from one star to three. ... show more

This is the 2nd item I’ve purchased from this company and again I am so pleased! In the summer months when water conservation is a priority, this helps me use less while taking care of my yard. I really like the long curved neck, it lets me reach all of my plants easily without bending over and straining my back. It’s also very helpful with my hanging baskets. This wand is very comfortable to hold and easy to use with one hand, so I can still talk on my cellphone or use a garden tool with the other! You can change the pressure easily with the knob on top and I like that it has the clip-lock to keep spraying continuously for large areas. What I like most about it is, the steady and gentle stream of water you get from all of the holes. I took pictures so you can see how gently the water flows and doesn’t damage my flowers. It’s like a nice light rain shower! And it’s made well and doesn’t leak or drip all over me! ... show more

    • Way too powerful
I thought it would be a good wand based on reviews so I bought two. Now I’m stuck with both... it’s way too small, a lot shorter than I imagined. (Arms length) Also, this is not good for watering a plant it comes out way too powerful and completely destroys the soil. The nozzle that adjusts the power is still VERY powerful even on low. Very disapointed. This may be something you’re looking for if you want a crazy powerful wand, but this is not what I was hoping for. ... show more

    • Save your back! Use this wand!
I am a big fan of this nozzle. When I water my garden, I try not to get the leaves too wet, but water closer to the soil instead as to not burn the leaves when the sun is shining on the plants. This wand allows me to water closer to the soil (with a lighter mist that does not disturb the soil) without having to bend down so far or crouch too low. Saves my back, that's for sure! Works really well for the hanging baskets too, I'm still able to water close to the soil without struggling to reach. ... show more

This watering wand has become my favorite gardening tool. I was always getting getting my self soaked trying to water my hanging baskets, but with the wand I can water with ease. I even used it on some shrubs that had gotten dusty from the summer winds and now they look so shiny. I did have to remove the head because we have a lot of sand in our water, but I was easily able to clean it out. I like the clip they provided that gives me the option of continuous spray. The rubber foam on the tube is great for my arthritic hands and I can water for longer periods of time. I can adjust the flow of water to just a mist which will make it excellent for tiny plants or even with new seed beds without flooding them. The wand is made of aluminum, so it should last a lifetime especially with the rubber coated handle. I looked for wands in the box stores around town and this certainly is a good buy considering all the options it comes with. ... show more

I really liked this wand, as it performed great. Until it didn’t. I hadn’t had it a full year before it split along the back seam of the plastic head. It was never dropped or abused in any way to my knowledge. The manufacturer says they stand behind their products 100% for a full year, but nowhere could I find how I could get a replacement. Consequently, I left a poor review, hoping they were monitoring their reviews and performing good excellent service by following up. And boy, did they ever! Almost immediately they reached out to me and sent me a brand new wand. I am still hesitant to give a five star review due to the quality issue, but their customer service rates TEN stars!
