I bought these thinking I’d save money over time. I was using about 4-5 cotton rounds each day and thought these would be a great replacement. I wanted them for my eye make up remover & toner. First off, they are soft and seem to be nice quality. My issue is that they also seem to soak up more product than the disposable cotton rounds. I’m having to use much more toner and I buy nice toner! And, the disposable ones fold in half easily to get eyeliner off your bottom eyelid. These are too thick to get in there. So, while they are nice I can’t afford to use more product. I’m wondering if they can be returned. ... show more

I've been using these reusable makeup remover/toner application pads for about 2 weeks. When I initially received them I wasn't sure how well they would hold up. I washed them once prior to use, and have used them for about a week and then washed. They are much softer around the eyes and don't flake lint like the cotton ones do that is super painful to get in your eye. Combined with my diy makeup remover I am very happy with these. I've got them in a small container on my bathroom counter that makes it convenient for use each evening when removing makeup. I will rinse them after each use and let dry on counter over night before putting them in a mesh bag to wash. The set came with a washing bag but mine doesn't want to stay closed so they end up scattered in with the wash if I use it. I use a larger zipper bag instead that will hold these pads and other items to be washed. Very happy with this product so far and hope that they will hold up for many years to come. ... show more

My resolution for the last two years has been to reduce waste, and I suddenly realized how many cotton pads I was going through! Terrible! I ordered these and will never look back. I have been using them for about two weeks now and have washed them three times. So far, they are holding up great. The little bag that they come with helps keep them together in the wash and is a nice little bonus. They are SO soft and there is zero shedding. They work great with micellar water and toner. Last but not least, these are a GREAT way to save some money. One package of the cotton I was using cost $20, so these pay for themselves! For anyone who plans to use these with P50 or any other acid/exfoliant, just be warned that it causes the black dye to run onto other fabrics it comes in contact with and permanently stains...learned that the hard way after setting it down on a white facecloth! ... show more

    • A better makeup remover pad!
I was previously using bamboo velour makeup remover pads before trying these and for me these are a great improvement. #1 The micro fiber does a great job at taking off makeup with just water, I found that with my bamboo pads I had to use makeup remover for them to work without smearing. This is worth the cost alone as I don’t even use expensive makeup remover anymore. #2 No more Kung Fu grip, the pads are easy to hold in your hand as they are thicker and don’t flop around nor do the layers separate during use. #3 I love the two tone black/white color and the product just looks and feels more refined. It has edging to prevent fraying and the materials are so soft on my sensitive skin. ... show more

This is the second set of reusable makeup remover pads I have ordered. The first set was from a different brand and they were very flimsy. These are by far the superior product, both in quality and application. I love that these are thick and structurally sound yet very soft on the face. I also love that they are double sided. I use the black side with coconut oil to remove my makeup and I use the white side for my witch hazel toner, one pad does two jobs. These pads disperse both the coconut oil and witch hazel very well without absorbing too much product. They are the perfect texture to make my skin feel clean without being abrasive.     • So many pads, so little time!
I decided to buy & try these instead of a similar product on the market that is more expensive. I didn't know why there would be so many in the package..: until I started using them.... I think I used 5 to take off a full face of makeup. One for just my eye makeup alone. Maybe I'm just a stickler for not wanting to use a dirty pad again and again over areas of my face that still have makeup on them... the makeup would not come off the pad like I would have liked.. even dousing it in water. But that's okay because 15 come in a pack!! I did find that it didn't do as good of a job at getting everything off.. meaning my face didn't feel clean afterwards.. so I recommend using a cleanser afterwards to get off any remnants of makeup and oil. These washed well in the washer. I've only tried these out once but so far I like! Like I said, if only one or two came in this purchase, I would not be happy because it wouldn't be enough pads to do the trick. Thank you for putting so many in the box!! ... show more

These are absolutely amazing and a great way to start using less waste. Aside from the product itself, the company packaged with absolutely no plastic (except the Amazon shipping materials). The pads came inside a thin cardboard box with a paper card inside. Now for the product itself... They're super soft, and I like that both sides are usable. The size is perfect; they're about the size of the palm of my hand, which is enough to cover my entire eye. It gets all the makeup off really well. For toner, they're great if you spray the toner onto your face and then wipe away the dirt. I love that that they came in a little bag so that they don't get mixed up with the other clothes. I haven't tried washing them yet, but there are instructions for washing on the company's website. You also get a BUNCH! It comes with 14, so if you use one a day, you won't have to wash for 2 weeks (longer if you simply rinse and reuse). Upon reading up on the company, I'm super pleased with how they do business and their mission. It's also really cool that you can go look and see how many trees they've planted and work hours they've provided. I'm very glad I decided to purchase these!
