After using these easeful and versatile raised beds, you'll be ditching your planter boxes, raised planter box(es), elevated garden bed(s), and raised beds for gardening. These will replace your current containers and will do a superior job keeping plants happy. Equipped with moisture-lock liner, these raised beds are ideal for myriad horticultural techniques. The liner forces moisture into the bed--say goodbye to hydrophobic soils and media! Trellis and/or double-trellis as well as blumat/blusoak irrigation systems are optional, and are an absolute breeze to integrate. These are truly raised garden bed kit(s) -- you'll just need to source your own 1" PVC piping. These raised garden planter(s) will quickly became your favorite planters and will replace your fabric grow pots. If you're using sohum living soil or some other sohum soil (or really any other soil blend for that matter), these fabric beds will surely do the job.

The directions are poor and when ordered via Amazon take a screen shot of product before adding to cart, I would actually take a screen shot of every step because Amazon's site has changed a couple things on me that I have ordered unless I am going crazy but I highly doubt that, I dont think I could go any crazier. This is best to put together in an area where you can move all around and have 4 arms to hold pvc when measuring or you may cut the pvc short like I did, then second round had a helper and went pretty quick. Not too many options this inexpensive though (even though I think it's still expensive). I honestly think since it comes with no pvc just corner pieces the price should be about $20-$30 less but thats me and I dont purchase the materials or monitor labor costs and such so I cannot guess at the companies overhead so it is what it is... ... show more

These 4x4 foot raised bed planters are great once you get them assembled. You will also need about 0.9 cubic yards of soil mix to fill the planters but once they are up and running they are fantastic. The surprising moisture lining is effective in routing the water down, away from the fabric walls and down to the lower portion of the planters. ... show more

This bed is absolutely perfect for my living no till setup, I’m so glad that I made the transition. It holds a ridiculous amount of soil - 125 to 150 gallons - while still leaving plenty of headroom for heavy mulching. Setup properly, this bed makes for MONSTER plants.     • Blumats the problem
Size: 3' x 6' w/ Double Trellis w/ Blumat Kit
The blumat "kit" isn't complete. They don't come with tubing and blumats tubing isn't standard(so dumb). On blumats website their irrigation tubing for sale is 1/4". The tubing needed to complete this kit is 8mm which isn't available on their website. And then you'd need 8mm tubing connections to hook up to the water line... I was really stoked to set up a blumat irrigation system. I'm regretting that. The grassroots garden beds have been awesome. A little ridiculous they don't send precut pvc with their beds though... ... show more

    • Great for living soil beds!
The bed came in perfect condition and with a little bit of measuring and fabrication the braces were a breeze to install. I am super excited to fill this bad boy up and get to growing. I would recommend for anyone using a living soil or notill soil.

If you're growing anything indoors with living soil, you should really try one of these beds. They will also make custom sizes if you call them up. And if you mention the Embracing Organics show, they might even throw you a discount.
