Overall I'm very pleased with my brand new Chicken coop, I live on my family's old farmland and I remember spending summers with my grandparents being waked up at the crack of dawn by roasters and helping my grandparents collect farm fresh eggs for breakfast. Well with egg prices soaring these days and my family had talked about one day having chickens again we figured it was finally time but I've never raised chickens before so I wanted to start off small and simple. Overall I'm very pleased with my new chicken coop took a lil time to put together had to redo once or twice because I put something in backwards but easy fixs overall got everything put together in one afternoon. Has premade drill holes and comes with everything shingles weather, solid wood and wire and locks for protection and wheels for transporting and moving around the yard. Pull out drawer for easy clean up. Said 2-3 chickens guess it depends on what variety but should be decent for baby chicks eventually I'll move em to a bigger space just need to clean my grandparents old chicken coop been 20 years since last used. But for starting out this should do fine for my needs. Now I just need some chickens. ... show more

Very cute. Very portable. I like it. Makes me smile to see it. But wish it were a bit larger & sturdier. It took two guys over an hour to assemble it. Small even for one chicken, but serviceable for temporary housing if you need something for chicks or a broody hen or for quarantine or introducing a new flock member safely. Use in a moderate & dry climate for longer service. This cutie will be a termite snack here. The cleaning tray is a great feature! As is the roost area side door. The roost bars are 1” wide. There are 2. And two cozy nest boxes. Not very sturdy walls or cage so won’t protect from predators. Fine for a fenced yard in an urban area where predators aren’t about. Subtracted a star because the house is not water tight. Having to silicone seal screws & roof to help. May do exterior walls, too. Overall this coop is significantly better than what I expected for the price. It is sturdy, and looks pretty good once put together. Assembly says something like a couple hours with 2 people, I got it done in about 30 intermittent help to hold pieces together before I secured them. The instructions/labeling of parts could’ve been a little better, but all in all not difficult to figure out. I was skeptical at first, but would definitely buy another! ... show more

Very soft wood, may be good for a year at best. Going to have to seal the wood and attach sealed 2x4's along the bottom to hopefully decrease rot damage. Bought two and connected them with metal cloth underneath to prevent anything digging under. Placed 10 banty chickens in. Not much room for them to move about. I put it together myself and it only took me about 5 hours to complete. Directions are good, and had extra screws. Not much to keep out predators if they are determined to gain entry though so will have to figure something out for that. Decent product though. Just ok, a temporary shelter until I build a better one. ... show more

Works great for us and 2 bunnies. We had 1 rabbit and recently took in a bunny and bought this cage for them both. Got this one cuz we use in house and this seemed to be the most room inside and in the run area that I could find for the Size. Easiest cage I've ever put together, it was all made pretty easy, I liked how the doors and latches were already assembled. This has no bottom, so I have a runner with wee wee pads and a washable 72" wee wee I bought here on Amazon. I am gonna make one of the areas on the bottom into a door, to make it easier to reach the poo in corner, that's the only thing I'd change and will. Love the size for indoors, we also let our bunnies out in other areas freely to run, but this is where they live, and the old cage I had we will take outside this summer and let them enjoy the outdoors safely. Can't say enough about how easy to put together and nice this cage is, very happy with company and our well researched purchase for our needs. ... show more

We received this before the project date of arrival and was all excited. That was until we started to inbox it. There are pieces that look like this has been used, places where there should be paint and there is none, wire too long that is bent and if we don’t modify it will hurt our chickens, pieces that there are not holes where there should be to put it together, pieces that only have screws on one side and not the other, places where the holes don’t line up so it is crooked leaving it uneven and unable to properly close. When we tried to return it due to all these issues and flaws with the quality the shipper expected us to pay the shipping back. Don’t waste your time buying this. Save your money and invest your time in building your own. You and your chickens will be happier in the long run. ... show more

We bought this as a temporary coop for 6 hens and it has worked just fine. Super easy to assemble. It is definitely lightweight construction. We have it inside a bigger run and it will get the job done. I love that I can easily move it around inside the coop.
