    • I like this fountain it’s good to look at but doesn’t have any water trickling sound.

The noise level is a tricky question the motor doesn’t make any noise but the fountain doesn’t make the water trickling sound that one get a fountain to hear.

I was disappointed and embarrassed when I purchased this fountain for my parent for Christmas and it turned out to be a cheap, lightweight resin instead of ceramic. I thought for the price and the size of the item, that it would have been the real deal. There are other ceramic ones that I have purchased from Amazon for a comparable price, but I chose this one for the color. If you want a ceramic one, make sure that's what you're paying for. Also, although it has pretty lights, it makes no trickling noise whatsoever, so it's not that soothin--borderline pointless. ... show more

This arrived at my house in a plastic bag; I am not sure how it could be labeled “Ready to ship” in a plastic bag and then shipped in an Amazon bag. It is about 40 pieces in this bag; and so much pulverized dust that it must have been a crazy trip here. Without a box, it didn’t have a chance. And sold as ceramic but seems like cementious plastic. When I opened the box, I was excited as the body of the fountain looked really pretty. After struggling for 10 minutes to get the pump through the very small opening, I was less enthused. Then, when I turned it on, the pump seemed a little loud. After another 10 minutes it was worse! The pump is so horrible! I thought about sending it back but the box had already made its way to the recycle center and I didn't know how I would send it back.
