Gorilla Waterproof Caulk & Seal 100% Silicone Sealant seals out water, air and moisture and is great for kitchen, bath, window, doors, auto, marine plumbing, gutters and more! Ready for water exposure in just 30 minutes, this long lasting sealant is not only mold & mildew resistant, but won't yellow, shrink or crack over time! as curedDIRECTIONS: All surfaces should be clean and free of dirt, grease, oil and old sealant. Best if used above 40°F. 1) Unscrew cap, fold and screw-on nozzle. Cut to desired bead size. 2) Apply sealant, pushing bead ahead of nozzle. 3) Smooth bead immediately after application, before a skin forms.TO OPEN: Cut nozzle at 45° angle to desired bead size. Puncture inner foil seal.STORAGE: Replace cap tightly to prevent material from curing. Store in a cool, dry location. To re-use nozzle, remove sealant from nozzle once cured.STORE AWAY FROM CHILDREN AND ANIMALS.CLEAN-UP: Wipe off wet sealant immediately with a dry cloth. Isopropyl alcohol may be used according to solvent manufacturer’s instructions. Service Temp: -40°F to 350°F (-40°C to 176°C)†NOTE: Do not use on wet, damp, frozen or contaminated surfaces. Not paintable. Not for use in underwater applications, aquariums, on brick, masonry, cementitious materials or on metals sensitive to corrosion including brass and galvanized metals. I got this specifically to seal seams in my all-tile bathroom. The bathroom was renovated almost 7 years ago, so there were 7 years of showers, steam, hot weather, cold weather, etc. The tile holds up; the grout mostly holds up, but seams between planes tend to separate. The separations can be so small that you can't see them, but when someone spills a bowl of water near the corner of the room, it will, for example, show up as a leak on the ceiling of the room below. Hypothetically. <g> I learned a trick for getting a clean caulk line and ensuring the caulk makes full contact with the seams. I use a formica sample, but a credit card will do. It just needs slightly rounded corners. The other thing you need is a spray bottle with denatured alcohol in it. Apply a thin bead of caulk, then immediately spritz with the alcohol. The alcohol keeps the caulk from "setting up" too fast. Typically, people use their finger to smooth the caulk line. Don't do that! Use the credit card or formica sample to smooth the caulk line, wiping off excess caulk as you go along. The alcohol gives you extra time before it evaporates and the caulk gets messy. I did most of the places where the tile walls meet the tile floor, and in the shower where the walls meet at the corner. It's probably better to do it *before* there's a leak! ... show more

Great product from a reliable brand. Dries quickly and doesn’t run after application. I prefer this to the GE counterpart. Only con is the smell. It does have a strong “sour” smell that lingers at least for a few hours to a day.

I wound up using this as a replacement for standard bathroom caulk. This stuff works great and is really strong. The smell is a little off putting but nothing that a fan and open window can't solve. It's really not that big of a deal. Easy to use, just make sure you have plenty of paper towels ready to go. I have also used it on the exterior of the house where caulk has failed previously. My only complaint would be that it is hard to use. I wish it had a built-in pump because there is a lot of waste with the tool you have to use to make this work, and it makes it hard to get into small spaces.
