3.12.23 so let me start off by saying, for the money, this thing is great. The handles are spring loaded so no noise/bounce when driving. Has strut to keep the lid open. Love that feature. Lightweight but pretty darn sturdy. Has weather stripping, only time will tell if it works.. No mounting tabs so it is up to you to mount it. Which is totally fine. My only complaint is: the key is not needed to lock it. Which sounds like it is not a bad thing. Well, go ahead and leave the key in the box by mistake, like I did, and wham. Locked out. Thank goodness I had to drill a 1 in hole in the bottom for wires anyway so I was able to retrieve the key (to be fair, my daughter does not have sausage fingers like her dad and SHE retrieved the keys). Looks good. I like it. ... show more

I like the box! Thick aluminum but light enough to easily carry empty. It fits in the back of my 2002 4Runner and can be opened inside. Good welding and finish. I like the looks and functionality of the latch and side handles. Also the piston loaded top is nice to pop and stay open. My main gripe, which is not reflected in my star rating, is that the shipping box does not protect the toolbox from being crushed on the corners. I returned mine since I expect to receive an undamaged box without corners that are bent with the paint broken off. Suggested improvements: - make one the same dimensions , except 42" or 44" long - rivets on back hinges can be easily drilled. Attach hinges to an inside lip on the box and top. - 2 latches instead on one for better security ... show more

Nice box for the tongue of my trailer, but arrived damaged. Appears to have been damaged before packaging as the box had no damage before opening. Lid still works fine, so not returning.

A little over priced and light duty. But….. Are use this for my 04 jeep wrangler because I leave the top down most of the summer. I bolted it in the back all the way up against the tailgate. It’s very thin but it served a purpose. I could lock it easily and would definitely deter anybody from trying to yank it out or tear it open. ... show more
