All these wasted years dealing with ugly litter boxes!! I have actual ocd especially when it comes to the aesthetics of my 1100 sq ft house. I made a makeshift litter box enclosure but this is a million times better looking! Perfect for any corner and really just about any size cat... the thing is huge! The plant looks fake... cuz it's fake! You can diy something better but honestly it doesn't look bad from about 5 ft away lol. The litter box is easy to disassemble for cleaning. When it comes right out of the box it might be slightly warped so lock it in place for a few hours and that did the trick for me. Pretty easy to figure out how to detach and reattach for cleaning... takes me 10 seconds tops. Fairly durable material. This is a litter box we are talking about after all. It looks like planter type of material but I've seen diys on faux plastering it and it looks bomb like that. Might do that later on when I have time to uhhhh... work on my cats litter box... Just get it and thank me later ... show more

This litter box was everything I needed. I moved into a small apartment and didn’t have a place for the litter box anywhere so I decided to go with this. I have not experienced ANY odor using this box and you cant tell the litterbox is even in the room. It’s the perfect hidden litterbox. It is rather large though (I’d say takes up the same amount of space as a normal end table would) so you might need to arrange a spot for it to where it fits. The top piece can be a little hard to get back on but other than that, it’s been absolutely great for me and my cat. I also got the liner tray and that’s even better. ... show more

I was nervous because the reviews said the lid wasn’t the best. it’s a bit tough to get on but once it’s locked into place it’s locked in. this box is HUGE holds a lot of litter. it fits right in with the style of my home and my cats LOVE it. I have two and they definitely have been opting to use this one due to the amount of room and privacy inside. They also love the leaves and play with them all the time. The only thing i will say it that i did not include the brown straw in the build. it was messy and the cats tried to eat it so i did not even give it chance. it looks fine without but i may buy a solid attachment to go in there instead like moss or something. ... show more

With 3 female cats needing to assert their territory in our home, we needed 3 cat litter boxes. We have one in the laundry room and a second one in our master bathroom. The third one had to be in an open area of the house, so we didn't want anything that was unsightly. This Good Pet Stuff, The Original Hidden Litter Box, is exactly what we needed. It is very inconspicuous, as it looks like a planter and artificial plant, especially since we placed the litter box's entrance to the side. The only two issues that I have are as follows. First, the top is a little tricky to align properly to fit over the bottom portion of the planter. I believe it's because there's no lip connecting the sides on the top, so they end up slightly curving in when the top is lifted. Not a major issue, but it is annoying, as I don't have that problem with my other litter boxes that have lips on tops. The other issue I have is that although a liner is not needed, it does make it much easier to clean with one. Good Pet Stuff does make one, but I had to purchase it separately. Overall, it is very functional, and my cat loves having her own litter box on her area of the house. Plus, this planter litter box is made in the USA! Taking all this into consideration, I'm giving this planter litter box 4 stars. ... show more
