Eels and Escalators was introduced in the SpongeBob SquarePants episode "Sailor Mouth", as a parody of the popular real-life board game, "Snakes and Ladders". Some people call Snakes and Ladders "Chutes and Ladders", but it's pretty much the same thing. Anyway, have fun, and please don't utter Bad Word #11 (or any other word included in Mr. Krabs' List of 13 Bad Words You Should Never Use). The game is super fun! It's a strategy game for sure, it's nothing like chutes and ladders. This is my favorite game out of this one and flying Dutchman's treasure hunt.

Bought this game before of my nostalgia for SpongeBob and I can tell you it did not disappoint. I brought this over at a party and we started playing it and we had a blast. There are variety of modes to play from basic tv version rules to more complex one. You have to build the escalators and eels but they aren't hard at all to assemble. Definitely recommend this board game and hope they do a legit version of the flying Dutchmen board game with real pirate booty. ... show more
