This couch cover is perfect to keep pet stains off the furniture. The gray fabric is a nice color, and is not an eyesore when it is on the sofa. It is definitely waterproof and is saving me much wear and tear on the furniture.

I have decided to write a review after purchasing this blanket almost a year later to be honest about my experience with it. I purchased this item to protect the bedding from pet urination accidents. It works well and is easy to clean by spot cleaning, then placing it in the washer, and then drying it on the light cycle or hang drying it. It is a lightweight blanket and aesthetically looks nice. My suggestion is to buy a larger size if you want it to cover an entire piece of furniture or a large bed. I bought this cover because I wanted a pet cover to match the color of our new blue sofa. The color is a wee bit off, but close enough. Both sides are a nice color but the darker is a closer match so we use that side. We use it to keep dog hair and smell off the sofa, and it does a great job of that. We haven’t had a liquid mess, but the fabric definitely has a water proof feel to it, so I have no doubt in its efficacy. I’ve washed it in our old top loader machine and it comes out like new. My only complaint is that it doesn’t stay in place. Because both sides are that waterproof material, it slides off the fabric of our sofa. We have covers from a different company on our downstairs couch, and they are perfect. A soft cotton on one side with little rubber grippers on the other side. The fabric these are slick and cold to the touch- more of a silky feel. One of our dogs is a very (VERY) active min pin and she jumps on/off/up/over the sofa 800 times a day. After a few hours the cover is on the floor where it is utterly useless. Thankfully the sofa has removable covers, but now I’m washing those nearly as often as this thing. I thought about giving it 3 stars, but I went with 4 because it does do the job advertised - if you can figure out a way to secure it. This is a great size which fully covers our sofa, and it is waterproof. It's very nice quality! Color is subtle and looks as good as a sofa cover can look. LOL We are very pleased with it! I like the durability of the cover. It looks great on the bed and doesn't look like it's there for the dogs. It's also warm where we can remove one of the other 2 blankets we usually use. I like that it's double sided with a different color on each side. I'm planning to buy another 1 or 2 of a different color. Because it's waterproof, it took 3 times in the dryer to get it completely dry. My dryer is only 3 years old so I don't think the age of my dryer is the reason drying took that long. ... show more

I am really happy with this product it fits perfectly under a lg dog kennel which I use for my rabbit. I would definitely purchase again. Messes can be wiped up as it sits on top of the blanket and stains wash out easily.
