We have 3 dogs and the grass in our backyard could use some help right now. So between those two factors we were basically having to vacuum dirt our of our bed every night. Definitely one of the last things you want to do before finally getting into bed at the end of the day. So when I came across this I thought maybe having it over the bed throughout the day would keep some of the dirt out of the bed. According to my husband it is the best thing I've ever bought! It truly works wonders. Our dogs go in and out of the house multiple times a day and are in and out of the bed all day also. We keep this cover on from the time we get up in the morning until we go to bed and all the dirt collects on top of it. I bought under mattress straps to attach the bottom of the cover (other side clips to the fitted sheet at the top.) so at the end of the day we just flip it down off the bed, all the dirt hits the floor instead of our sheets, and it's easy to flip back up over the bed in the morning. Our robot vacuum comes to get the dirt off the floor and no one has to vacuum the bed!!! Seriously, seriously a game changer for us. The water resistance is an amazing feature too! Dirt + rain = mud. This has saved our sheets from muddy paws many a times! And because it's absorbent the mud dries to loose vacuumable dirt rather than stuck on mud that needs to be scrubbed or full out washed. The water proofing also allows us to let our dogs get on the bed when they're wet, which they love! Our boy likes to rub his body all over to try and dry off and we'd never let him do it on the bed, for obvious reasons, but now he can run and rub and be crazy to his hearts content and we still have a dry bed underneath. Our great dane gets cold coming out of the shower so she likes to lay in bed under blankets after, still a perfectly dry bed for us! The only downsides are the lack of durability and the secondary color. I bought the yellow cover and the lighter side is such an awful hospital yellow. It looks like a puppy pad. Would never have that side up. But the darker side is the color I really wanted so all is well just no changing shades for us. Now back to durability, or lack there of. We do have a tear or two in the main area of the cover. They aren't all the way through, just one layer. But like I said, we have 3 big dogs and they put this thing to the test so I'm not too upset about the little tears. I am however disappointed that the lining around the edge is ripping off already. We have it clipped under the bed and it's ripping right where the dogs jump on to the bed so I'm sure that's why but still disappointing. I would definitely buy again but would also consider trying another brand that might be a bit more durable. ... show more

This has made socializing and training a baby bunny so much easier. Yes, it is the type where the liquid will roll instead of soak in. It also means you can have a towel handy and soak most of it up, so you can keep using it for the day without a stinky mess. We have used it on the couch for evening play time. We have used it on the floor to create a fenced play area. It works great everywhere. After having it on the floor and staying dry for days for a "recuperation" stay, it acquired a lot of hair. When washed it pilled up and stayed on. The pills came off on everything else afterwards. We'll be lint rolling or vacuuming it before washing if we use it for an extended period again. My dog thinks the main part of the sectional belongs to him, so I was laying random sheets & blankets all over to protect the leather from his nails & drool. They looked horrible & was the 1st thing people saw when they walked in my house. The cover’s color is neutral enough that it doesn’t stand out that much & kinda blends with the couch color. I'm using this as a leather sofa cover to protect it from accumulating dog hair in the crevices and to reduce the likelihood of accidental damage from my grand-dog's claws. I discovered it's not very water resistant, if that's important for your use. Fortunately that's not a major concern for my use. It's a little difficult to keep it tucked in neatly but maybe that's unavoidable. The quilted fabric looks nice. The color I chose coordinates well with my sofa and it was available in a longer size which I needed. I've not washed it yet but I don't anticipate problems there. This thing works like a CHARM!! I have not even had this for 5 days yet. My potty trained fur baby, decided to jump on the ottoman and pee on it while I took out the new fur baby for a walk first as I’m trying to potty train her. As you see in the picture, all of that was pee. When I lifted it up, the ottoman was completely dry !!!!!! I have already bought two of these things and will definitely be buying more ! I never had to test the waterproof feature as of yet but it seems like it would be pretty good at protecting the sofa. Not sure about large amounts of liquid though. My cat has started to pee on the furniture. I have started to keep him in the finished basement now when the weather is bad and he can't be out on his catio and there is one couch down there. I put this cover on it . Low and behold, he peed on it, but the urine just stayed puddled on top and did not soak in or through the cover. I was able to just wipe it up. I just washed it in cold water and hung it up to dry, so hoping the waterproofing holds up. Will update if he does it again. ... show more
