Because of storms or a drunk hitting a power pole we can lose electricity. Just recently used and was able to monitor through the app on my cell. It has three different charging modes to maintain the battery’s health. I keep it plugged into a wall outlet but it can be charged via solar or car 12 volt. Gets the job done! Gives the JBL Partybox some extra juice, allows ppl to charge phones, etc. My only issue is how quickly the battery depletes once it hits 20%. I've used it to power a standard 32" flatscreen and I get about 4hrs out of it (without using any other ports). Used only once and it’s junk… As soon as I received it I charged it up and set it up. Went to use it over a weekend to run a small usb fans and charge my phones over night. By the time I came back home and wanted to charge it back up, it immediately has sparks coming out the side and tripped the house breaker. Contacted Goal Zero without response.
